From http://royals.ms/forum/showthread.php?t=5979, we had our very first postwipe Horntail Run- which wasn't really a total failure because we managed to kill Tail, Right Arm, Wings, Feet, and the rightmost head. It appears that some bugs that we had previously were fixed. So here is the full, updated list of bugs - which I tried to record. Illuminate led the first party and I led the second for the first two boss heads on Arya. During the main body, Illuminate led the first party while Skadi led the Second. The seduce order was as follows: Illuminate RickyBebi (at one point both of them got seduced at the same time after Illuminate died once) Tupac1994 Zoink Bug List 1) HTPQ preq keeps glitching unless someone does it immediately after the server restarts- the moment you start the quest, the no drops bug occurs at the beginning or midway through. This is similar to the Pap PreQ which I have tried to do myself. 2) The Badge which could be used to bypass the HTPQ PreQ- involving Zak/Pianus etc certs doesn't work. 3)If you have 2 parties doing HTPQ in the same channel, when both parties are at the Horntail Squad Expedition Area, both cannot see each other. (Matt said the solution is to CC) 4) The two initial boss heads freeze a bit- noticed by illuminate and Zoink (I think this affects some warrior skill- needs clarification)Edited because it was a known GMS bug 5)At the main body, Black Wyverns spawn too fast- they're supposed to spawn only at the third head. 6) When the first person who was seduced died and got ressurected, Horntail started seducing someone else as well as him. There should only be one person seduced at any given time.. unless 7 ) is fulfilled. 7)There is supposed to be a mass party seduce after the left arm has lost 50% of its damage. 8 ) Wyerns spawn more than one batch at a time (up to 2-3 batches sometimes)- when it's supposed to be just one batch. 9) Wyerns stop spawning after some time. (There was a length of time without any Wyverns after we killed tails, right arm, wings and were working on the head) 10) Single target seduce stopped happening after some time, around the same time as 9). Edited because it was a GM who got seduced teehee. 11) Seduce appears to be somewhat random - when it should be in the order of the people who entered the map. For instance, although Skadi entered the map third, Zoink and GorkyParked got seduced before him. It did seduce Illuminate- the first to enter the map correctly though. o.o 12.) When party leader DC's it kicks the expedition from the map. - if the party leader is to DC from the instance then the party will DC along with him /edited with Skadi's edits. /Edited By Hump~ Glitches should no longer happen waiting on confirmation on 6, 7, and 11 Bug Fixed by: Hump & Matt
More bugs: 1) There is no entering order for first pre head (supposed to manually enter cave1, and prehead is summoned when a player crosses the rope line). 2) HT seduces 2 main targets (illuminate+rickybebi) right from the start (supposed to be only one). 3) Wyerns spawning more than one batch at a time (up to 2-3 batches sometimes). 4) Wyerns stop spawning after some time. 5) Single target seduce stop happening after some time. I am not entirely convinced of the bug 10) Single target seduce stopped happening after some time and I'll tell you why. At one point, Amy, Matt and myself were watching the run on our GM chars and Amy informed us she was getting seduced by HT. Shortly after us making ourselves immune and going into hide, you guys announced you had been suddenly seduced again. Yes, it was wrong that Amy got seduced at all in the first place, but I don't think seduce ever stopped working. Just for clarification sake
To clarify 4): It wasnt the heads that froze, the heads froze us. There were big periods of time where we couldnt use skills or only use a skill once every few seconds, while everything else was laggfree. This stopped happening at the full HT.
Normally in a run you kill the right arm first to stop the single seduce until you move onto the left arm and the mass seduce starts happening sub 50%
I am pretty sure this bug has been around in the official servers for a long time. It may be patched now but I remember this glitch back in the day. http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2397922/1/lagging_while_attacking_horntail.html "If you stand in front of the rope to attack the pre-heads then your attacks get slowed, stand on the portal to the next room to attack up close. If you're ranged, be ranged and stay behind the rope." So I think you can remove this one, I doubt that it is fixable.

The warps aren't random. It's that the HTPQ timer continues even after you complete it. Once the half hour is up, you warp out of HT.
Yeah that does make sense. The same issue that occurs with any timed PQ. And the runtime errors/crashes/freezes would be related to the 'Zak issue'.
One way of getting around the timer issue is to fix the cert entry. Of course, easier said than done.
Another issue is that the second pre-head spawns in the first cave, after someone has entered the second pre-head map. This makes it impossible for anyone to enter HT without the help of a GM. Also it just seduces whoever attacks first, which is actually okay if you can't get the seduce/signup order to work. The seduce mule will be the first person to attack, if that person dies it moves to the second person who attacked.
I would like to add that these issues also happened before the 'zak issues' that occurred around november.
From today's HT attempt (08/06/2014) 1. HTPQ keys teleportation is bugged. (http://royals.ms/forum/showthread.php?t=9216) 2. 2nd pre-head seems to be fixed, it correctly spawns in the 2nd room.(http://royals.ms/forum/showthread.php?t=8997) Also note that if the pre-head is killed by someone who did not register (a GM for instance), the kill won't register and you cannot proceed to the next stage. 3. The main body is the buggy part, it'll kick us out because a. One of the PT leaders DC'd. b. Randomly 4. I think it was said by Dustin that the drops were not good? Perhaps a GM can sign up on an expedition and test kill? If I missed out anything, please add on, thanks!
Attempted HT again today. Party leader DC still kicks the expedition from the map. Wyverns spawn when they shouldn't. Arms seduces when it shouldn't yet. (as soon as they get hit instead of being below 50% of it's HP) Sed order is random too. Should be the 1st person that enters.
