Around 7:25pm-7:40pm EST, my account was "blocked for hacking or illegal use of third-party programs." I wasn't using either, so I'd like to ask why I was banned. I've read other threads and I noticed that screen shots are often taken to add evidence to reason. If possible, I'd like an explanation. Thank you.
You were banned for exploiting CPQ. To an extent similar to hacking. The amount of CP suggests you were in there for quite a while.
Exploiting CPQ? The game finished, my opponent was kicked out and my character was left in the room. About 3 seconds later, the spawn (or more accurately, only the rombots) returned. There's no NPC to boot myself out of that room and with spawn coming out randomly, who wouldn't take the opportunity to benefit from it? Exploiting a bug yes, but I believe it doesn't fall under hacking. Also, I had just found that bug and as any other giddy player that finds a little secret, I played with it. I can tell you that there are plenty of other players in the server over the level 50 (CPQ max level) that sneak their way into the room and benefit from the 10 minutes of Rombot spawn. Even if your conclusion holds, I'd just like to point out the fact that it was not hacking, the EXP could've been gained regardless from multiple runs, and that other players in the server have and continue to CPQ past the level 50. I do enjoy playing this server and I will continue to play, but I'd just like to say that I do feel a bit bitter for having permanent ban from just finding a bug. If a ban lift is possible, I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
