The Super Transformation quest for buccaneers (called How To Improve Your Strength) doesnt give out Super Transformation. All steps prior to it work fine. The quest is completed in my log now though, so I won't be able to restart it if it gets fixed. Any solution would be welcome. Hit me up on forums, or in game on Zoink/Woosh/Bollocks if you need more info or screenshots. For now I advise other buccs to steer clear of this quest.
Any news on this? I am now sitting on 14 unused skillpoints (and growing), while I could really use the extra damage from demolition. I dont expect an immediate solution or anything (after all Im the only buccaneer at a level for this skill) just an acknowledgement of the problem would be nice.
Hi, really sorry for the delay! I'm going to post a link to this in Character issues requesting that a member of the admin team sorts this problem out for you. I assume the character with the problem is Bollocks? We will also look into the issue with the quest, although we don't know how easy it will be to fix until we know what's causing the problem. May I just ask one obvious question: is there any possibility that your inventory could have been full when you tried to complete the quest?
Thanks for the response Kat! Yes the character with the issue is Bollocks. I am 99% sure my inventory had a spot, however I also believe this is irrelevant. As far as I know all skills from quests go directly into your skills menu without a book with the one exception of Maple Warrior.
I'd like to add that this may possibly be an isolated incident. Myself as well as the character 'Catlaunch' had no problems obtaining the skill. edit: Just to note, I did the quest back in December.
Might have something to do with a combination with TimeLeap then, since Im the only bucc with that skill. At least i was at the time of finishing the quest. Thats just a wild guess though.
It's starting to look like this is not an isolated incident, as a number of other Pirates have recently not received their skill(book)s from quests.
Does indeed seem like something has happened regarding the receiving of the skillbooks. Changed the thread title to reflect this. Will try to look into this tonight.
Has this been fixed yet? I'm still missing skills and don't want to start the other quests if I'm not going to get the book after finishing it.
We're still trying to find out what's causing it. In the meanwhile, if you run into difficulties with any further quests, please ~gm ingame for help, or if there's no reply after a reasonable wait, report it here under character issues and someone will help you when they get chance.
