Let's start this thread on a serious and positive note... I LOVE what the staff did with the bonus stage in APQ. It was brilliant and super helpful!

But I absolutely hate how we handled the situation from there. We created... *shudders* maps... Which would have been fine if we created A MAP. But no, we created maps... with an s... plural... Hell, I was even happy with the chaos in the first few APQs before the maps showed up. People took the boxes closest to them and there was a bit of scrambling in the last few seconds but it was nice and civil. Instead, we created a situation where people have new things to argue about... Which map? Where is this map? Who didn't follow the map? Should apples obtained in someone else's box be handed over?

I am personally guilty of not following a map. Why? Because I got confused. How? Check this sample conversation:

Leader: Are we all following the map?
    Me: Which one?
Leader: The one on the forums.
    Me: Okay... Which one?
Leader: The one on X thread.
Me: Okay... That's nice... WHICH ONE?!?

Clearly something is wrong here. And my personal solution is to get rid of the maps or just pick one and be done with this whole thing. But I'm often the odd one out in this issue so I found a solution to minimize headaches...

Here are all the maps of the APQ Bonus Stage! (Below)
DISCLAIMER: I did not create all of these maps, I am merely the plagiarizing quack that put them all together in one place. Most sources are provided so that you can direct all comments, recommendations, compliments or complaints to the correct person(s) responsible for creating/sharing the map.

    Step-by-Step Procedure:
    1) Pick a map
    2) Follow it
    3) Have a good day!

I am taking a page from Seinfeld where Jerry once proposed giving the sections of a parking garage offensive name so that people won't get confused. (buuuuut without the "offensive" part... I'll just make the names memorable)

If there's one I missed, post it below and I will add.

MAP 5 - Party of Five Map

    Comments:
    - As implied by the name, this map is for a situation where the party is a member short. (due to disconnection, death, etc.)
    - Although the number of boxes is uneven in the zones, the purpose is to give all party members enough boxes to occupy all their time while keeping everyone apart.

    More cool stuff
No idea who created these but they still work as of Nov 28, 2023

I forgot who first told me about this one:

Special thanks to dirtmouth for providing me with this information!
The general idea is that the spawn order is based on the order that members join the party but it is a bit more complicated than that. Keep in mind that the order that party members are invited to the party is irrelevant. It is the order in which they join the party that matters.

Now suppose these 6 fools are in a party:
    upload_2023-11-28_22-40-37.png

So WildLionFury is in the party's 4th position. Therefore, he is in the 4th APQ spawn spot.
Furthermore, StumpChopper and HueyDuck are in the 5th and 6th party positions & APQ spawn spots, respectively.

Now suppose WildLionFury is expelled from the party. What happens?

    1) No change for StarWingDuck, DarkWingDuck & DarkWingDove.
    2) The 4th party position becomes empty!
    3) StumpChopper is still in the 5th party position but will be in the 4th APQ spawn spot. (shift in APQ spot only!)
    4) HueyDuck is still in the 6th party position but will be in the 5th APQ spawn spot. (shift in APQ spot only!)

Now suppose WildLionFury re-joins the party. What happens?

    1) No change for StarWingDuck, DarkWingDuck & DarkWingDove.
    2) WildLionFury takes the first available party position, which is the 4th position. (the one that became empty when he was expelled) He will now return to the 4th APQ Spawn Spot.
    3) StumpChopper is still in the 5th party position but will return to the 5th APQ spawn spot.
    4) HueyDuck is still in the 6th party position but will return to the 6th APQ spawn spot.

Now suppose DarkWingDove & StumpChopper are kicked out of the party. StumpChopper re-joins first. DarkWingDove re-joins second. What happens?

    1) No change for StarWingDuck, DarkWingDuck, WildLionFury & HueyDuck.
    2) DarkWingDove & StumpChopper exchange party positions and APQ spawn spots.

Okay.. but how do I let party members know of this thread?

..how can I quickly check my spawn order?
    • Turn on party HP mark, its 1 - 6 from top to bottom.

..how to drag balrog to the ground?
    • If you're aggro target, stick your foot to the ground and run away from balrog as far as you can.
He will chase you if you're not in his attack range (you should notice he has a wide attack range), and the route he will take is first go a curve, land on the ground and move horizontally to you.
    • If you're not aggro target, stop hitting and let ↑ do his great work until balrog is close enough to the ground.
    • If there's no aggro target, make someone be.

In Map 2 (Square Zones Map) the red zone contains two spawn points and the blue zone contains none.

I suggest either redrawing the zones so they contain one spawn point each, or coloring the spawn point stars to match the color of the zone (with a remark indicating this).

Sure. Then it's worth remarking on this glitch so people are either less likely to use the map, or can figure out who goes where before entering bonus.

Although I prefer not to modify other people's work, my new additions under maps 1 and 2 is as far as I will go.

Modified the modified Elie map to color code the spawn points with their corresponding zones. Hopefully this is easier to look at uwu

Ty little drummer Progie for modifying the star colors! Your version along with a special thanks note has been added.

I also followed a suggestion to swap the original and modified maps.
