Do backspin blow and corkscrew blow work for you guys? Corkscrew I can charge but nothing happens, and backspin doesn't work at all.

 

I have began my project - a bucc Currently washing with base INT (lv 54 so far lol), how much hp you recommend me to reach? i plan to stop washing at 120 or 135 (depends if I won't be lazy enough to leech with my bs) and Im not sure how much hp i will have (got total 103 int, 50 from equips).

 

How much int you think I should have till I stop washing? Now I have 103 and I think im gonna leech myself to 135 alone

 

Why is base 20 DEX considered DEXless? 96-106 equip DEX isn't out of the realm of possibility, right? I'm not doubting your expertise or knowledge, just wondering why the number seems to be set so concretely.

Is MP washing for a bucc... broken?

I have 60 base INT, I added 1 level up AP into MP, then used a reset to -MP/+INT, and I didn't gain any MP.

For warriors, with base 4 INT, if you add MP and -MP in the same way, you break even, but as soon as you start adding INT (beyond 10), you should start getting an extra MP after is all said and done.

 

You must put 1 fresh AP into HP beforehand. Unless you did that already, idk.

 

I'm not HP washing (IE, -MP/+HP). Normally to subtract an MP or an HP, you need 1 in the mix to do so, this shouldn't require that as I'm adding the MP, and then subtracting it.

 

I see, thats... nuts. Hm. So if I get 10 from the Ap point, +6 from washing, id still break even. 70+, is going to give reliably 1+ MP... im going to test that

So yeah with 70 base INT im now getting at least 1 MP per wash reliably... jesus anything that isn't a warrior is such a hassle. lol.

Can you define 'decent amount of base int'?
Im at 122 with about 220 base + 50 from items, am I doing it right?

 

At what level did you reach 30k hp?
I got around 110 int on equips and am looking for ~18.5k hp at 135.

Any clue how much base int that would need?
I don't have a MW20 mule, but I do have a MW10 mule if needed.

 

Hey, just want to make sure my math is right:

Currently level 114 with 6484 HP and 3049 MP. Looking to have around 12K hp when I hit 140 (so I don't die to BF)

Right now I need another 5516 HP to reach my goal. If I level to 140, assuming I don't do anything else, I should get an additional 325 (from advancement) + 26*55 = 1755 HP, so at 140 I should have around 8239 HP.

At 140 I should also have 3049 + 175 (from advancement) + 26*20 = 3744 MP. The minimum MP I can have at that point will be 18*140+111 = 2631 MP, so I should have 3744-2631 = 1113 MP to wash.

1113/16*40 = 2782 HP

So at 140 (assuming I have 0 int on my equips) I should have 8239 + 2782 = 11021 HP?

 

Waiting for AP reset prices to stabilize personally to finish my 30k HP wash, glad I did all of my MP washing/INT resets prior to the AP price increase, but for now I am rolling with ~13k @ 150, safe enough for big foot soloing, although I would like to hit the anego hp threshold some time before 160

 

On another note, anyone have some tips on how to get to 100 DEX without using a DEX robe? Here is my current set-up, obviously looking for the cheapest way to get to 100 with a nice 30+STR Overall

So easiest way I see to improve my current DEX is relooting/scrolling ZHelm, however I do not have a consistent group to boss with so I would likely need to keep purchasing VIP service until I manage to scroll something 35+. Same situation with Krexel Ring... I need to work up the courage to drop a chaos on my event pendant obviously, if that happens to go for the worse I will likely look into picking up a decent scrolled Deputy. Otherwise any suggestions from the more experienced Buccs?

 

150 at the moment, started a new job last week and have only managed to turn in 1 set of turkey etc. so far, still possible to get 10 but it's not looking great Range is ~5.6k atm (7.9k w/ Heartstopper), so I shoulddd be able to get accepted into some boss runs, just don't have a steady group

 

To the person asking about reaching high DEX - you might also want to consider just using that DEX overall until Horntail returns to the game. HTP+egg is a 19dex upgrade if you egg even an 8dex clean pendant, which will be more than enough. Your alternative is WS+60 on a 20DEX clean (or higher) Zakum Helmet, but unless you chaos scroll that Anniversary Scarf, an egged HTP is better and you will eventually not need that dex on your helmet since you’ll get it from your pendant.

Pretty sure the only Buccaneers that end up needing a WS+60 Zakum Helmet are ones with godly Chaosed Anniversary Scarves. The overall is flexible, wait till you have the harder stuff to figure out first. That’s my PoV!

 

Sounds like I just need to drop the chaos on the scarf already, if that doesn't go well it may even make sense to try my luck on a pilgrim for when HTP finally returns

 

Something I was wondering about your keyboard setup, do you still find yourself using Energy Blast even when you have Energy Orb in 4th job?
