Hey I have a quick question. I'm level 75 trying to train at Wolf Spiders, but they hit really hard. I can only survive a couple hits and I'm constantly spamming pots. I tried raising my defense by getting a Zhelm and scrolling some gear to get enough dex to wear a Red Viska, but it's still pretty annoying to spend so much meso on all those pots. Is there still something I can do to make life a bit easier?
Hah! Looks like I underestimated the autopotting option of my pet, so I kinda ignored it. I gotta say that it made things way easier now that I've used it for a while, thanks!
I have a question about Speed Infusion. If I'm using a Fast 5 weapon and a Normal 6 weapon, will they both have the same speed (2?) with Booster + SI? Also, while reading I noticed some stuff that made me curious. You write the following in the skill build: and also later on Is this because there might be Speed Infusion 30 in the future? Like... did some version of Maplestory have that? Or did I just misinterpret this and it means that there is no SI30 and will never be? Also I have noticed this a lot in boss runs, you usually got a free hug while getting SIed because you needed to stand so close. But now it has been improved as of update #50. Do you still think it's one of the smallest radii in the game? And also, I feel like it's not even a radius, but more of a rectangular "box"? That's kind of irrelevant though...
So fast reply Thanks for the information! Now I know things like Fishing Poles can never be superior to Sky Ski and also that Purple Surfboard is not the best end game weapon for pure pole arm DKs.... I could provide you with some info on non-knuckle weapons since I leveled my Bucc with those up to 35. (I've played DK since forever, but even on my next character I used spears - you may call me a fool ...)
Does energy orb at zakum hit all the arms? With the energy changes getting full charge is pretty quick. I'm trying to justify putting points into the skill before maxing si and tl.
Do you try to do the corkscrew + barrage iframe combo on horntail head c when bubble stance and super trans are down? It's such a pain getting knocked off and not being able to reproc stance when nothing to hit.
Thanks for the guide! Really helpful! Been so long since I've played this class, I can't even remember
Should I add that this overall also drops from Incense Burner Demons? Or should I keep that a secret...?
Somersaut Kick gives iFrames? I don't think so, better add Backspin Blow, you get iFrames if you connect the skill
they do but you have spammeable iFrames and enough avoid to face ur enemies, you build it for Weapon/Overall
You should add "Windrider" in the 65-75, it's very fast EXP in those levels. (The big map of windrider, i don't remember the name) Nice guide anyway
Yeah, Windraiders at Lower Ascent are good EXP in Lv65. Not sure which map is best though. I think you could even go there before 65, as long as you have enough accuracy. You need 132 acc in Lv65. The best EXP at this level, however, is Capt. Latanica. At least that's what I found while leveling my Brawler. (A good idea is to prepare/buy 5~10 White Essence and then Power Level from 63 to... I don't know, 70 maybe?)
Hi There, thank you for providing all this information! I just wanted to mention that this build does not work at all for 3rd job in the current version of royals. Energy Charge has to be at least lvl20-30 in order to be used at all. I would advice to put at least 10 points directly into energy charge before even bother raising energy blow.
Thats exactly what happened to me when I put one point into Energy Charge and then 2/1 into blow/drain: What I failed to explain is that on Energy Charge lvl1, it took minutes of constant beating until I charged max energy - which was in the end useless other than being a really cool effect and something to look forward. The charge rate was just too low. In contrast, when leveling up Energy Charge much more to beyond lvl 30, I profited by stance/atk/avoid boost every few seconds - which was very usefull regardless whether I used Energy Blow or not (but even at lvl2 it was alrdy pretty great in that skill set-up.) I assume that they changed charge rates after you have been in your marauder days?
