I realized the math for the skill distribution was wrong, my bad. I need to revisit it and touch up a few things in the guide too. With the exp curve too, all the boss exp amounts is incorrect now...zz But I've also got a new video for bodyguard A, B and The Boss to upload later too. @XBeast Claw mastery doesn't actually help your damage any, which is why I don't suggest maxing it for a bit. For most classes, maxing Mastery first or second is a must. Assassins are an exception here, since Lucky Seven’s damage is based on a different formula and completely neglects Mastery, so your damage will be as stable as it was before even without it. The +200 Star bonus per set isn’t very useful early on, since you don’t use that many stars.
Critical Strike: 30/30 (MAX) Claw Booster: 20/20 (MAX) Haste: 20/20 (MAX) Claw Mastery: 20/20 (MAX) Endure: 3/20 Drain: 18/30 Nimble Body: +10 for 20/20 OR 28/30 Drain and leave Nimble Body at 10/20.
Please, also consider that Corsairs usually have +20/30 wa in the weapons, and also can scrol it for cheaper. And NICE GUIDE, as complete as possible!
I didn't write the NL vs Corsair part of the guide, that was all Marty. To be honest I considered removing it since it's kind of irrelevant to a NL guide but I left it up for now.
Photobucket's stupid ass changes broke most of my links in the first post, by the way. I'll slowly get around to updating them all with imgur links instead. -_- Greedy company. They want $40/month to allow third party hosting. Hell no.
Silachan~ My friends said NLs need 9k HP when fighting Horntail, but i can only reach 7.6k HP at lv155. Is it enough??
You dont even need HB if you're careful. My NL has been HTing since it came out and I have 8k HP at 200 now. The trick is making sure you don't take touch damage from wings when going up to Head A/Head C, as well as during its attack animation. The rest is fine. 7.6k is just enough to stand at bottom and do tail/legs with the rest of the group WITHOUT hb.
Hello guys.. thanks for the helpful guide provided, i just wanna confirm again. In order to reach 18000 HP at Level 175, i have to have 300+Int at level70, and start MP wash at Level 70 until Level 100, and the rest is just HP wash without MP wash until Level 175 right? HP wash = up HP, down MP with AP Reset then put back into LUK MP wash = up MP, down MP with AP Reset then put back into LUK then starting at level175, this is the only level i should reset ALL the 300+ Int back into LUK? And, does the 300+ recommended Int included with my INT gears? Thank you ^^
Fixed all the damn broken images finally. (Screw you photobucket). Still have to update the bosses EXP to reflect the 3.2x instead of 4x...eventually... I can't promise that I will keep this updated for future content from here on out though. I've not got much interest in playing my NL anymore now that I'm finally 200 ((and to be honest guild wars 2 is much more fun than Maplestory now anyway))
Just a random question to people who HP wash. If you invest 10b into hp washing, don't you feel it would've been better if you had put that 10b into items instead of HP ? Would just like another POV.
I was talking about having 30K. I guess the max hp you really need is 12K for bigfoot and even less for HT so wouldn't it be more efficient to just get that 12K and buy equips with the mesos you saved?
Say if i want 18.7k hp at lv200, @level 120 reset all int back into luk and swap out all my INT gear . Will i be able to achieve that if i wear 50int gear and add int stats only? i guess i need to do some mp washing up till 12k MP in order to achieve that. Is it Possible to HP+MP wash together? (Put stats in MP, AP reset into HP, then AP reset back into Luk)
If i have aroud 230 int at lvl 175, can i just use 226 ap resets in one level? I think i read somewhere you can use 5 resets per level but taht's not true, right?
you can use ap resets to -mp +hp, as long as you put 1 fresh ap in mp/hp, and while you have the excess mp but each point you reset to hp gives 2 less hp than a fresh ap
