But I didn't lose any AP, right? What's the e difference between Adding level up AP to MP, washing it immediately and putting into Luk Hoarding it all up until the end?
If you're going to put it into luk anyway rather than int like chance did, AND you're leeching (which, it's you so I assume you are) absolutely nothing other than that you need to remember to subtract 1320 MP from what's currently shown in your AP reset screen to get your actual current MP anytime you want to do a possible HP calculation.
I'd say its more beneficial to wash it out then put it into int. then reset it later. http://royals.ms/forum/threads/how-to-mp-wash-double-wash.18158/ @ post #11 plus without resetting the mp you have a skewed number of how much actual washing mp you have VS the points you have invested in mp. ^^^^^^^^^
forum tip: If you want to link someone directly to a certain post on a page, click the little number down near quote & like & stuff. It creates a link that will autoscroll to that post rather than just dumping them on the thread. Like This
Yeah so I'm not crazy. I have a lot more extra MP than Chance's original calculation and I'm not even half way through adding AP into MP.
No, you're gaining exactly what you're projected to gain. 10-12+(base int/10) but you then lose 12 per AP taken out of MP for a net average profit of (base int/10)-1. If you reset all your int right now, but kept your equips you would come out to about 18k at 155. You've also invested 326 resets in base int, 110 resets on MP washing, and have ~600 resets in HP washing to spend. You're looking at over 10b in expenses here just in AP resets, not counting int gear and the cost of time spent leeching. I'm not sure why it surprises you that you've got the potential for 18k.
So this is my gains so far at level 99. Hypothetically speaking and if I'm calculating this correctly, I'll need take away my base MP from my Hermit (99*14 + 156) and then divide the result by 12 in order to see how many times I can wash, correct? Edit: I'll also need to take out (69-99 * 5 * 12) from the number also, right? Base MP at level 98: 1,542 MP via level up AP: 1,800
step 1: subtract 1800 from your current MP. step 2: download the HP wash helper spreadsheet http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=39081973151660911593 step 3: put all your relevant information into the spreadsheet (make sure you round down for the value you put in for INT) step 4: choose a goal level and find your projected HP.
Nope, TT and L7 have their own Mastery of 50%. This is why you don't max Claw Mastery first or second. @Plenty your 11,587 MP... Are you trying to tell us... Half-life 3 confirmed? 1 - 1 - 5 - 8 - 7 = -20 -2 + 0 = -2 Half life 2: Episode 2 came out in 2007 2 + 0 + 0 + 7 = 9 9 / 3 = 3
He did the math, I think. @jmmainvi predicted I'd get enough MP for 30k HP by level 147 if I continue to MP wash like this.
So I have a question regarding the AP build. Keep in mind I'm not the most experienced maple player, so some things I think are right could be wrong. I've never really spent much time at 4th job so I may be making some false assumptions/missing something. But anyway: I was always under the impression that purely DEXless was the way to go when it came to thiefs. Does the ~80-100 AP you'd lose putting into DEX really offset the what, 10-15 more wa you get from the craven at the higher levels? This is with buying DEX equips too. Wouldn't you just be better off overall investing entirely in LUK (using AP for LUK in stead of DEX, buying LUK equips, etc.) when it comes to damage? Or does the dex serve some other purpose rather than simply to equip a craven?
the extra 13 possible attack between craven and skanda makes up for the luk lost. The way the damage formula works, as you continue to level and get more and more Luk, each additional point is worth less and less. While at level 100 that 13 attack may be worth, say, 70-80 luk, at much higher levels it's going to be worth much more. Since that's the case, it makes sense to switch over around 100 when they're tied/craven is a little better, because you can start perfecting you claw sooner - If you know you have to switch at a later point, the money you put into a skanda is mostly wasted.
How do you suggest to cycle the 'Cavern of Pain' map? Maybe I'm missing something, but the gaps between the ledges in the map are to large to jump (even with haste) and at the suggested level you don't have Flash Jump yet. Am I missing a teleport in the map, or is this map not that great of a trainingsspot?
The suggested level is merely a guideline but the map can be used to train at a higher level. Also you're going to be mostly using the bottom but if I remember correctly, there's a good amount of platforms to move across through the top if you see it in person but I'm not 100% sure. Also, since Lower Ascent is not as popular of a training spot as GMS, you can train there which I felt was a good map with tons of spawn and teleporters.
Personally, I think Lower Ascend is a little too spread out, which makes it less of a great spot than Cavern of Pain can be. Allthough if you can only access two of the four spawns in Cavern, that will diminish the value of the map by a lot.
