OP is requesting a legitimate inquiry to the ban process so it would be much appreciated if you didn't derail this thread with this nonsensical personal vendetta you have with staff (and apparently ex-staff lmao) for whatever reason, thanks.
Then don't screenshot my post from a different thread and post it here. Felt like I tried that at the start with the shoutbox and I got attacked for it. But yes I should've tried harder to take a peaceful approach.
With so much going on nowadays, and the uncertainty and fear about this issue falls on us, every day I'm thinking about moving to another game, only legitimate like Dota 2 or LOL or GMS itself! all this is sad :c
Since there seem to be some assumptions and misconceptions in this thread I decided to reply to explain (part of) my approach to this recent rwt bust in particular. This is not true. I went through over 1200 transactions to determine which ones seem highly suspicious to eventually ban a little over 200 individuals and all of their accounts. As we've seen in ban appeals some of these players were innocent and unbanned again after they were able to tell us what their transaction was for (that we fact checked) Our logs can show us much more than just Bcoin trades fortunately! I'm not sure what more I can do other than try to keep the game RWT free and help the players that are innocent like I already am In general I would like to note that this is not a case of staff vs players but rather a case of staff and players vs RWT, for which we seek for your understanding that it's possible that you've done business with the 'wrong' low lvl sketchy player that turns out to be a real world trader, and that we're happy to clear your transaction and your name so you can continue playing again when your ban appeal gets resolved. I hope that potentially missing a day or two of playing in this unlikely scenario is acceptable knowing that we're doing what we can to keep the game fair for you and your fellow players.
I'll use myself as an example - I purchased the IGN Saturn from a (now) banned RWTer named Economy. I had absolutely no idea he was a RWTer when I purchased the IGN from him. However when I paid for my Character Name Change I let the staff know exactly what I paid for the name, and who I obtained it from. Economy ended up getting permanently banned for RWT within a month of me purchasing the IGN (situation unrelated to me). I was never punished or questioned, which I could only assume, means staff took the time to look into how I got my hands on my IGN. It would make no sense if they didn't look into me, if they knew Economy obtained what he had illegitimately. Point being - I purchased from a RWTer unknowingly and did not get banned. So to me, your assumption is incorrect.
It is happy to see many false banned players got unbanned. Appreciate for your hard work. Mr Tim. And I’m sorry for the false assumption I’ve made. Can close this thread now. If no further discussion.
