While we are here is there anyway we can lower the 3 minute wait before gpq door opens ? 3 minute is quite long especially when the party is all ready.
definitely agree, i suggested it be a signup gui like the big boss runs. once everyone is signed, the party can enter via the leader. (also mentioned everyone paying ~10m to skip stage 1? coughmesosinkcough..) i definitely do think GPQ should have more replayability (like with tokens), but not necessarily for profit. here's a spoiler dump for all my gpq input, and it should be more clear what i mean. rewards that are fun and exclusive, but can't all be turned for a profit. tokens for sure. special nx, reskinned existing gear with different stats/properties. actual fun items to hunt or work for, but aren't some broken godly thing, or stepping stone to buy more ws. Spoiler: GPQ intrigue
Thank you! I appreciate all the input and some sound like great ideas, but for this feedback I would much prefer for it to be about smaller changes, like just adding tokens as a reward. I'm just proposing this as a minor change as I'm sure the staff has too much on their plate to do a whole revamp of the pq anytime soon. Adding a few possible rewards to bonus, like a gach ticket or gizers would be a nice little addition as well. For now I'd like to stay on topic though! It seems so far the poll is nearly unanimous, but would always love to see more input on the matter .
100%. my insane fixation ideas are just in spoilers for anyone interested. gpq has lots of potential and i believe tokens are a great first step yes, tokens, if guaranteed and not random from boxes, would certainly add intrigue to GPQ. so would fresh, or changing token rewards (another topic). if tokens (x1) could also additionally drop from boxes as well as the guaranteed point based token reward, at a about the chance the nicer gpq items drop, that would boost interest as well. i do think the guaranteed reward should cap per day, but, not many ppl actually hard grind gpq, so the cap could be a bit higher than i think some are assuming it may be, and for the wildcats who hit cap, can still have a little chance of more from boxes if they're lucky and to answer your last two questions at once, i think token amount should depend on the amount of points you earn in the gpq. that means the faster (read: ACTIVE) parties will make more tokens. on that, i believe not all rooms drain your points, so i think adding that mechanic to all rooms will also combat afk/MC/exploitative token accrual. folks/individuals who are multiclienting will always take longer. this is probably the perfect way to award tokens here, from the angle of preventing afk/mc.
In regards to GPQ, it is very time-consuming compared to other PQs, so I wonder who would want to burden so much time and fatigue just to complete solo with mules or with a small party. If drops are based on box looting bonus stage like other PQs, there's always a chance of being extremely unlucky so I wonder if there is enough incentive to convince people. From what I know, most token rewards are untradeable, which would unlikely affect the economy in a bad way, so I personally think the fixed reward should be kept as is. anyhow, bonus stage would have additional reward which would differentiate AFK and active play. since I have never done Auf, I had not known why Assassinate 30 price plummeted, but there should be compensated reward for the rewards that's been taken away. and as long as other PQ's daily cap is not removed, I think the daily cap should be mandatory.
because nate30 was an exclusive, expensive gpq item, along with some other sb, and it could be ran all day with no limit, and ergoth bane +500 hp medal is why ppl would being mules, and definitely did. if tokens or rewards are buffed there is why mc still needs to be considered, and always should. also why i think your gp earned per run is a perfect method to award tokens and deter mules. most guilds do it once, some people drop out, then maybe a second time, and that's it. tokens are a great everyone reward despite the meh bonus
It would be a nice quality of life change if this could be implemented. We spent so much time last night waiting for the 3 minute timer which could have been a couple more GPQ runs. Spoiler This is pretty much gating Wiggle from taking #1 on the rankings. @Doo
Thanks for the bump reminder. @Zancks and I recently met and put together some feedbacks to focus on what we see as "updates that should be implemented asap" that we wanted to bring to the table for discussion. I missed this one. I will add this to the list, along with removing (or significantly shortening) the beginning wait time. I think these are two small changes we can have before thinking about other improvements (GPQ rewards, for example). We also hope to tackle tokens of teamwork as a whole, but we will take discussions step by step to hopefully ensure we get some stuff through.
In Update 78, tokens of teamwork were added to the GPQ bonus. Players are now able to loot tokens dropped from bonus boxes for a daily limit of 9. That's one thing off the todolist! Thanks to the devs for their work in making this happen, and thanks @Rielle for the big brain feedback!
