Yeah but don't rely on it too much. And just a tip for those that didn't know: If you use roar, or any HP sacrificing skill, auto HP doesn't use a pot when you HP sacrifice below the percentage you set. It only pots you if a mob hits you when you are at/below your set percentage. And don't rely on Auto HP once all the arms are dead at zakum, ever. -personal experience-
Situations I've noticed that sometimes auto HP fails: When using a skill at the same time you get hit (such as booster) Getting hit for damage above your threshold (Say you have it set to heal at about 3k HP, your potions heal 2.8k, and you've got 3.2k HP. You get hit for 3.1k damage and sometimes it wont heal. Has happened to me at newties quite a bit and sometimes at Skeles too) If your potions don't quite heal enough to bring you above the threshold and you get hit again. Lag (obviously). Sometimes they don't heal at 1/1's either. There's probably more.
If only it were as reliable as auto MP, right? From my experience, the longer you use it, the better you get at knowing when it will heal or not. I don't actively think about it, but I find myself using potions without even looking at my HP beforehand when it just happened to not activate. Auto HP can get interrupted if you do certain things at the same time as Sila said above me. This is how it was in GMS and how it also is here. Is there a way to make it perfect like auto MP? I have no idea. I know literally nothing about that kind of stuff. Either way, it's working the way it was seemingly designed to. If you don't know the difference, Auto HP has one chance to heal you while Auto MP will forever spam until it uses a potion. I personally love both Auto HP/MP. Sure, HP can be troublesome at times, but it's sure a hell of a lot better than nothing.
It doesn't pot when you are applying skills, or when you are manually potting (say you don't use auto-mp, so you manually pot those), or when you have both auto-hp and auto-mp and they try to pot at the same time, and sometimes lag will cause it to not pot properly. It's reliable when you know these things and adjust your behavior accordingly.
Is it me, or does Golden Pig never AutoHP? I swear, after I get hit more than 10 times I have to manually heal myself.
