you're charging people 2.5b for 51-105 and 3.5b for 105-140, yet you would charge your friend 20B instead of 12B for two of his characters for that?
Yes I did. For normal pricing: The reason I charged 2.5B and 3.5B for 51-105 and 105-140 is because in those packages, I am allowed to take on splits. So for those clients I will start leeching them ALONE ASAP and will find them partners so that I can earn more. If you think about the meso here. 2.5b from 51-105 and 3.5b for 105-140 are quite cheap for undisrupted leeching services. For example, 22hrs solo @ petri (3.5b) will not get you from 105-140. Well, 7hr or so from 105-120, 12hr+ from 120-135, 135-140 would need 7-8hrs, it has been long since I last played so they are estimates. In this case, the price here is more for a convenient, turnkey solution. And I charged lower as I can have more loyal customers and don't need to waste time on smegas for new clients. I also has the potential to pick up a partner for these clients so I can earn more. The clients in this pricing do not really care a lot about the TIME but rather just the convenience of a turnkey solution. For this friend: First, I started leeching him from 25/30 not 51. 30-51 is also notoriously long and every hour spent in low level leech has opportunity costs as I can leech high level in petri. Second, the reason I charged more in this case is that this friend was previously banned so he would like to re-start ASAP (shocker) in MapleRoyals. So he asked for undisrupted SOLO services, in this case I am only allowed to take him SOLO and not able to take on new clients and partners. Also I committed myself to leech him as often as possible (some times day-to-day). Well for a little bit more VIP service, I don't think 20B is really pricy. I think a lot of the ppl that looked for leechers understand that a good, consistent leecher is hard to come by. You can also see the price also fluctuates in my screenshots due to the demand. For peak pricing, Uber charges more and hence I also charge more because I can. The typical supply and demand curve. Hopefully this can provide further clarity. Thanks.
so you were taking 20b from your friend that you knew got banned before, from his new low lvl character. and you didn't think that was suspicious at all?
Hey Tim, I think you can easily check if they have the same IP. They are not the same person. I believe the transaction time is around 7:47 AM EST Sept-02/2021. You can check the IP of beckyLam and easonben vs. rain6. On the date of transaction, that friend told me to transact with that RWT merchant in FM. So I went. You should be able to see that they are both online at the same time. But I would bet they never shared the same IP. I am not suspicious because I knew that guy might be a RWT merchant, but I honestly thought it wouldn't matter because I am still providing my leeching services which is fundamental to the server hence I am not doing RWT trading myself. Honestly, if every time as a leecher, I need to verify where the fund is coming from this is very hard. I am not sure what I did wrong here because I did not RWT as I provided in-game services for in-game currency. I felt really hopeless now to be honest, Tim. I tried replying to your questions very promptly, but this ban appeal has been dragging on for almost 6 months now and I felt really struggling that you guys may never want to trust me at all. But that is fine by me as well.
Allow me to share one more piece of evidence. Here's the chat log between me and that friend on the day of transaction. . I have provided translation here which can be easily verified by any GM who speaks Chinese. You can see he asked me to let him know if I received the money. If I am doing RWT directly why would he even say that? He should knew himself right?
you're knowingly, directly benefitting from RWT through your ban evading friend that's real world trading to provide you mesos and you chose to accept it which is an issue.
How am I benefitting from RWT if I earn the meso fair and square? I provided leeching services and I got the meso? Your rule clearly stated: Real World Trading - The act of exploiting the software or the game for any sort of commercial purpose, including buying or selling items, mesos, or services for real world currency or barter. Additionally, any and all solicitation, advertisement, or other promotion of the aforementioned, irrespective of the location of the act. I did not exploit the software or the game for any sort of commercial purpose. I did not buy or sell items, mesos or services for real world currency. I provided in-game services and received in-game currency. If the rule above still stands, I don't see that I am violating the aforementioned rule.
You're knowingly partying with a ban evader that's real world trading to provide you mesos for your own benefit.
