Hi my name is Sammy(Redgummi) and I play mapleroyals with my bf Ryan(Rainpain). He has introduced me to mapleroyals as he has been a fan of the game of his childhood, we work from home and take turns playing our own character. If there’s something we have done wrong, we’re willing to do the necessary works to remain playing on this awesome server. We are both new and he started playing not to long ago maybe beginning of last month. Thank you for your time and support!
Our work from home setup has our gaming pc setup in between the middle of us, we dual monitors to play and we take turns playing our own characters as we work throughout the day, we also share another laptop in our house but it doesn't run the game as smoothly as our gaming PC so our best experience of the game comes from our gaming PC.
You are not allowed to be logged onto the same computer at the same time, as this is considered as account sharing. In addition, you both have virtually identical login credentials. Originally, we were likely looking at a 14 day ban for botting, as one of you was being leeched by the other who had a weight on their attack key and did not respond to GM prompts, but this has now been upgraded to a permanent ban for account sharing.
Can we please appeal for account sharing? we do not share the accounts as we are two separate players unaware of logging onto the same computer at the same time would result in this outcome. we thought it was a good idea to share the computer but not knowing the consequences to that, thank you.
Unfortunately not. Our ToS is clear that account sharing is not allowed, and the account sharing as been extensive. The fact that you both have the same login credentials also violates our ToS, as you have to have discussed these with one another.
