All Your Character Names: SarangNabi Last thing you did: Doing a quest in Nath I believe. Why do you think you got banned?: My wife and I voted for maple royals in on our family computer. Her character name is Bunruna. If there are multiple players in your household, either take turns voting or apply for the voting whitelist. Failing to do so would result in a ban for vote abuse. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how-to-register-for-the-voting-whitelist.15374/ Although we did not apply for the voting whitelist, we did take turns voting. If this is the case, we will apply for the voting whitelist. I am sorry for all the trouble I have caused. Ban message when attempting to log in: Your account has been blocked for hacking or illegal use of third party programs. You can login after Aug/2/2026. 1:42 am What GM banned you (optional): N/A
Update: I believe we both misunderstood what it meant by taking turns to vote. It is understandable that the ban does not get appealed. We apologize for inconveniencing the maple royal team.
Could you please clarify how you previously understood the phrase "taking turns to vote"? I would like to ensure that there are no remaining misunderstandings regarding the Voting Rules, so that you do not inadvertently receive another Vote Abuse violation, as the next strike would result in a permanent ban.
As I only read the above instruction, we thought we would just need to log out and vote. We didn’t realize it meant voting on different days until I was going through other ban appeals and saw the voting instructions linked in a different ban appeals. I originally only saw this post:https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how-to-vote-on-mapleroyals-step-by-step-guide.253661/#post-1589045 but I understood what it meant when reading this post later: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/voting-rules.15580/. The second post was harder to find than the first post. I think it would be helpful for newer players if the second post was somehow pinned or made more visible on the forums.
Not sure if there is a better way to get that post visible. But when looking at other ban appeals it does seem like many have missed that post as well.
I will update the wording of the first post to better emphasize that each household may only receive a total of 8,000 NX per day when there are multiple MapleRoyals players in the same household, unless a Voting Whitelist application has been approved. Regarding the second post, the Voting Rules are also linked directly on the MapleRoyals Vote page: https://royals.ms/vote
