Just suck it up and use Magic Guard. Make sure you're pet auto potions are working and you'll get way better XP than GS2. The potion burn is not that bad. You'll profit from them by NPCing equips to offset the potion cost.

 

To add to what @Plenty said, you can put points into MP Eater early to help mitigate the potion costs.

 

It says priest can try training at skele? What level tho

Ratz are a bit high leveled for you. Try teddies, you should be able to train there better and do more damage.

 

Rob is right - and while Retz aren't that much higher in level vs teddies (30 vs 36) they have over double the amount of magic defense, so your attacks are going to be a lot less effective.

 

Ah alrite! Found out why my damage was horrible, my magic claw is still at level 1 xD

Wait, does maxing Magic Claw improve my dmg of other skills too? cuz i saw that it has this mastery thingy. And is my heal suppose to deal so little damage?

 

Heal is pretty poor until maxed - I would go to Jr. Wraiths instead at level 35. Also - go kill ligators and get a maple staff which will significantly improve your damage.

Not sure why you chose to max magic armor instead of magic claw, as claw is your main attacking skill (aside from heal) until third job, and armor is made pretty redundant by magic guard.

So I decided to make a normal cleric (made a lukless in GMS before BigBang and wanted to try something new). What would you all recommend I do as a lvl 54 cleric? Maze pq until 70?

Anyone able to provide any genesis table for TOT mobs? I do see many bs training at ob2

 

Doesn't really show the amount of tma you needed for tot mobs. However, you can play around with the sheet to roughly see how much hit it'll take to kill the mobs.

It's a little hard to get maps at gs2.. are there any other alternatives? gs5 is a tad slow :\ im lvl 72 priest

 

I wasn't able to 100% 1 hit Skele on my Bishop. I had exactly 1355 magic with Gen 20. Once I had 1359 magic, I didn't notice any 2 hit kos.
