Thank you! Sorry to respond so late. Any computer-generated "randomness" is never going to be truly random. It's referred to as seeded random, or pseudorandom. Basically a random seed will tell a computer when to start generating a sequence of random numbers (typically based on the computer's internal clock). My bot uses what is called the Mersenne Twister for pseudorandom generation which is the most widely used for general-purpose. This would most likely apply to RNG of scrolling too. To humans it's as random as it's going to get with no way to predict anyways. There's no correlation drawn between ~dummy and actual scrolling. I just thought it would be a fun tool to play with.
May 16, 2022 Added ~maple It plays a game almost identical to Wordle, with answers selected out of MapleRoyals' drop database. The correct answer is a 5-letter word that's mention somewhere in MapleRoyals (e.g. Batoo, Lapiz, Belts). There's 538 possible answers, which I may add to down the line. Spoiler: Demo There are some inaccuracies with repeated letters, but for the most part it should be playable. Enjoy! Let me know if you are having any issues with it!
Hi having difficulties adding bmu bot to a server has it reached max number of servers that it can join?
Ya looks like my bot finally reached its 100 server limit and I'm going through the verification process to try and get it expanded beyond 100+ servers . In the meantime if you are part of a server that already has BMU, you can actually send direct messages to it with commands and it will work the same. But please don't dm my bot with anything lewd!
Verified finally after a lengthy process.. but in order to get it working in new servers I'll need to rewrite much of the bot's code. Once I have the time to do so, BMU will be reachable with slash commands similar to how modern bots work: Hopefully I can make all features worth with this. In the meantime, anyone can dm BMU for commands privately.
