I'm not saying that bucc is perfect the way it is now. I would probably adjust the scaling so lv1 demolition is about as good as lv11-15-ish barrage, and lv1 snatch is about as good as lv11-15-ish dragon strike. lv1 energy orb should be substantially better than max energy blast (for single target anyway), and at max it should be somewhat better than dragon strike. these changes would allow orb and super transformation to be taken early and have some immediate value, instead of sucking all the SP away from the core barrage + dstrike combo
i mean. i already went over this. if you wouldn't, that's fine. it's not the balance team's job to keep bucc as a class that everyone wants to play. just like how most people don't want to play corsair either, but if they temporarily removed the ship HP mechanic and jebaited everyone into making a corsair, we'd end up in a situation just like this
so now ppl need to not want to play bucc either especially when so many players made buccs ? cause me like many other players whouldnt make bucc under this nerf thats my point thats just like locking the door to many other players who plays bucc and now need to find something new or just quit the game first cuase the game play is not fun anymore also i hate when players tell me about the meta in GMS witch is one of the reasons no one played buccaneer in gms also its another reason why many people whould just quit their buccaneers or quit at all also now making buccanner for new players whould even be harder witch it was the perfect class for new players in the game
Yes, that's what happens when a class is given an overpowered buff, and then gets that buff removed 7 years later.
i whouldnt care for losing my dps under lowering the dmg of my attacks on bucc or shad just nerf shad smokes was enough for buccs cause both classes was benefits of it but changing the whole game play is way to much atleast for me and all i can say i whouldnt think about making a bucc back then if it was like it is now cause it doesnt seems fun to play and i think u will find many bucc players who whould think same as me because we signed to play bucc in mapleroyals and not Gms or other Servers
imo they could instead reduce the dmg of demo a bit. I'd rather do 10-15k less dmg on each line than losing a whole minute that makes casual bossing a total nightmare so often! First, it destroys v2 rebuff option after dp - you could cancel transform to rebuff instead of burning a few seconds on barrage demo slow animation without booster & si till you can literally rebuff, auf buccs will also suffer from this. It avoids the opportunity to dodge v1 for a minute, if you don't have bubble and you can't iframe when it does super KB you are screwed. the only way to dodge it was demo, now we are forced to stand to the opposite direction each time v1 iframes. It's much more than "reducing bucc to 97%", there is no way that niber trio att before the nerf took me the same time compared to niber quad att+hero with decent gear (not a full cgs set) +party rage buff+enrage on my hero.
