I can definitely see your points, and while I think it was a little extreme to call my reasoning ridiculous, my stance is more neutral-positive to the idea presented by the OP now. I was discussing it with a guildie the other day who had some good arguments which hadn't thought of. It is really no different to the other training boosts we've had in other places (e.g. spawn increase, LPQ EXP increase), but this one happened to be the thing that I have put a LOT of time into, and that negatively impacted my objectivity. I am in support of having a variety of training options, and quests are actually an excellent way to encourage people to train in a wide variety of areas (in order to complete quests that require killing or collecting). I completely overlooked that. Additionally, I was a bit put off the idea by the lack of concrete suggestions for what the EXP boost should be. The only one suggested was 50x, which is nonsensical. However, I now see that there are people who would be happy with something nearer to 2x, which I think is reasonable. What the EXP boost should be is a parameter that also warrants further discussion if this idea was to be seriously considered. The thing I really like about quests is that they give clear goals. For me, that is a big plus as the problem of "go gain levels" is too big in itself. Quests break it down. It would be nice for other like-minded people to be able to level at comparable speeds to normal trainers Yay for less GS2 drama too. While I read most abuse reports, I tend to just close the GS2 ones as soon as I realise it is yet another GS2 ks'ing incident.
