I liked the nuhrootoe cartoon where nuhrootoe and his best friend suhsook hang out in the village of leafy greens and sometimes go to sand castle town and play ninja sign language with their friend garma and his sand coconut*
I hated the episode when they were taking their ninja middle school final exams and roach-chin-marty used his sneaky snake jootsoo on suhsook and gave suhsook a maloik hickey which gave him a rash and made him grumpy and even more emo


*Editors note : garma and his sand coconut must be addressed as "garma and his sand coconut" if he is currently in possession of his sand coconut
In the event that garma and his sand coconut loses his sand coconut, he must then be referred to as "garma"
Episode 69 : "garma and his sand coconut will lose his sand coconut sometime in this episode so you we will have to refer to him as "garma" in the title of this episode as foreshadowing, loses his sand coconut" is the episode where garma and his sand coconut loses his sand coconut (so we will have to refer to him as "garma" in reference to events of the episode where he is not in possession of his sand coconut)
During the episode, garma uses the sand castle building jootsoo to make a lookout fort so suhsook can use his shiny gin eye jootsoos to locate the misplaced sand coconut
suhsook accidentally looks at the sun and finds the 8 lost episodes to the nuhrootoe first season and opens a time paradox in which nuhrootoe wasn't his best friend anymore and roach-chin-marty is actually his mentor
suhsook then leaves nuhrootoe and garma to go do bad things with the boom box clan in sound town and become an antagonist
garma locates his sand coconut under his bunk bed at the end of the episode and returns to being addressed as "garma and his sand coconut"

 

Glad you guys are keeping this alive while i've been away. Just got done rewatching Yu Yu Hakusho and just started rewatching bebop...

I KNOW I KNOW, I posted a Spike gif somewhere else on the forums, so I was hoping someone else would shine that beacon. Kudos to you, and wishing for another set of characters and a vibe that can compete with the legend that show left behind. For now, I'll leave a gif reminiscent of what I've been doing in my time away from the server....

 

Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Gundam 0080, .hack//Sign & FLCL were my main cups of tea when I was a kid. DragonBall & DragonBall Z too of course but I feel that is default for a lot of people.

Honorable mention for me would be... Zoids
I'm sure I am forgetting a few.

Sidenote.. I am currently watching Irresponsible Captain Tylor. I really wish I knew about it when I was a kid. Great anime.

Omg I haven't heard or thought about that show in many many many years.

 

I really enjoyed both series of Fullmetal Alchemist, but if I have to choose a favorite it would be Brotherhood, despite seeing the other series first. Growing up I really enjoyed Dragonball Z and YuGiOh.
