quick question: is there a way to trade/change Suzy's hat? I got Pongo's cuz I blindly did that, but I wanted Claw's one :S

once the snowman boss died, i got a white christmas present in my etc inventory. what are you meant to do with the present?

 

I believe you talk to the Christmas Tree NPC to trade it in!

I don't think so but don't worry - most events are pretty similar. There's pretty much always a trade npc, a group fight and a 6 hour cooldown quest.

 

btw you are not guaranteed an orb on the 10th, I got mine on the 12th, not sure if it's supposed to be 15th as many ppl have mentioned to me but definitely not 10th~

 

cld be cos of the messed up numbers. but i think it shld be guaranteed orb at 20? 10 seems a little too quick

 

Thanks guys! I checked Christmas 2017 and the event page for that says 15 so I'll go with that for now.

 

No , even 15 times still no orb. I think no guaranted orb this year.
My friend sent me this picture just now since he felt frustrated. He already returned 17times and no orb.

ye but even then u still nid the orb. fur was tradeable. i think mostly likely thing is either @Matt forgot to put it in, its supposed to be at 20th/30th try or the messed up numbers, seeing as i still somehow turned in over 40 even tho i have not , messed up the thing. after all, its not really a good thing to hv no guaranteed way to get an untradeable item which has a low obtainable rate in an event is it?

If you just join a random party for snowman pq they'll probably explain it to you. If it's the same as last year you just kill stuff, collect the snow drops and then manually drop them on the snowman until the leader gets the notification to leave. Rewards include christmas weapons (maplemas lights, versalmas pole, christmas tree spear and dagger), orange/red/green skis and mittens plus some consumable items.
Snowman fight you just enter with like 100 or 200 snow, equip mittens and throw snowballs at boss till it dies, hand present to christmas tree npc. The NPCs should explain it.

 

anywhere is appropriate for hero to farm snow or star?

 

for attacker jobs, i would recommend bossing. bosses drop lumps of snow tat can be ard 30-50 snow i think. even just doing pap daily gives me abt 80 snow on my drk. other than zak/krex/pap/ht, can also go kill area bosses like bf since they also drop lumps of snow
