Client crashes post character selection after new patch, debate & fixes.

With the same issue, Yesterday there was a yellow post that said it would be fixed as soon as possible.
I wonder that is this situation will keep going after another server check.
Afraid that this summer event would blowed

Having the same issue with Win11 here.
W7 compatibilty will lead to black screen after select char and entering the game
uncheck W7 compatibility let me into the game and dc after like 15 secs
I hope there's a fix asap : (((

 

Win 10, I had issues logging on, turned out initially it was the antivirus that crashed the game. After I made an exception for it, it allowed me to play, but it will still crash and stop responding for some of my characters, while for others, I can log in fine, and play for hours with no issues~

Characters:
#1 Log in and play without issues.
#2 Game crashes and closes down
#3 Game crashes and closes down
#4 Game crashes and closes down, and fucked up my computer xD
#5 just stops responding.

... welp, now Character #1 doesn't want to log in anymore either, and acts like #5...

worked like wonders

 

Windows 7 user here, fixed by running in win95 compatibility mode for all users, then disabling the clock in-game before it had the chance to crash.
