Title is pretty self-explanatory. My PC's specs surpasses MapleStory's maximum requirements by far (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 2700Ti 8GB) yet my client crashes almost every time shortly after I join an event. Why does this keep on happening? What can be done? Does the client need to be ran in some compatibility mode or something? I think out of all the events I've been to (maybe 5?) my client hasn't crashed only in one whole event. Unlike me, my GF is able to participate in events without her client crashing every time, and she's playing on a laptop which obviously has worse specs than mine. Maybe this is something that has to do with graphics? When running MapleRoyals on her laptop, she has the typical black margins on the sides in full-screen mode which is a sign of a lower resolution. On my PC the game somehow fills the whole screen when in full-screen mode, without any black margins on the sides. Help would be much appreciated, thanks.
> Maplestory is a game made for computers with very low specifications. This hasn't changed much throughout the years and the version we're playing here can be run on a very basic setup. That being said it also runs ok on 'high spec' computers in most cases. mapleroyals would actually work better on a basic setup versus a high spec set up. some players run it in vm w basic specs to avoid crashes this thread may help https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how...graphical-glitches-closing-your-client.16643/
