should just split the clean item
I mean if the 30 boomed it I doubt any of you would care about the weapon

 

You see that's the thing -- the item was the property of the entire team so if it boomed of course they wouldn't care and wouldn't expect any split. The team risked their item and clean-splits and deserve some reward. (But I think the first offer of the 1 ws/cs each should have been accepted)

 

He didn't buy the item. This scenario does not apply. Please think before you reply to threads in the future.

 

Quite honestly the worst comparison i've seen. I don't think I even need to explain why? This has no correlation to whats going on/happened here.

The fact that hes not willing to give a split for the clean item speaks for itself here. People saying that this item is worthless are being very disingenuous, 200M split is 200M split. If that s not a lot to you, awesome, but you don't get to make the decision for other players and shouldn't assume its negligible.

 

Sids, about time to close this up. I don't see where this is going at all, and I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve here. It's pretty clear cut, lack of communications.

Lesson learnt, for both of us. Get more information regarding weapons you're unsure about regarding its price, before you even decide to scroll it yourself or let someone else scroll it. We both made assumptions, we both fucked up, so be it. Move on.

As the host of the party, you were in charge of all the loots. You dropped the spear afterwards because I asked for it, not knowing the value of it, I picked it up, not knowing the value of it either.

I doubt everyone in the party knew the clean spear were gonna be split, way before I even scrolled it. But to give you the benefit of doubt, let's say they did, and somehow I didn't, anyone in the party could have said something. A simple 'Stop, lemme check first' would have been enough, or 'Stop, lemme ask the party whether they are okay with it'.

But no one said anything, so I just went ahead and scrolled it, believing the spear was trash and no one wanted it.

All this happened because I asked for the spear and wanted to scroll it, had I not asked for the spear, would the clean spear have been sold and split afterwards? I don't know. Or that you're saying now that you would have scrolled it and split the profits of whatever it becomes, sure, so be it. Will I be informed? Should I have asked? I don't know, because somehow the whole party is agreeing the spear should be split after everything was done.

I offered to pay 1ws/cs per person for whatever the spear is sold off at, but you declined on behalf of the party. So I don't really see what's wrong right now.

My offer still stands, splits for the clean weapon, whoever is in the pt, if you want it, come and get it.

 

@sids Given what you’ve just told me I’m more inclined to side with you in regards to this matter. If you guys had discussed beforehand that the scrolled spear was for the party then I can’t argue against that. The issue here is it becomes your word against Reaped’s as there doesn’t seem to be any evidence from either side regarding the extent of discussions that you guys had about how the spear was to be split.

Anyways it isn’t my place (or anyone else’s except those involved, really) to come to a verdict on this issue. This doesn’t affect me in any way regardless of the outcome. I just happened to be scrolling through the thread and felt it was strongly biased against Reaped so I decided to play Devil’s advocate for him. Best of luck figuring things out

Anyway take this as an experience being a organiser or host for boss runs and move on.

PS... yes you might have the chance to f*** your team out of mesos and make out like a bandit. but you will never be invited to boss again. BUT be a team player make your money steadily every boss run. and you will make more money then youll know what to do with.

He took the spear. No communication here.

1) 1st 30% goes in, everyone will give a damn.
1st 30% fails/booms, majority will ask for clean spear split.

2) 2nd 30% goes in, everyone will give more damn.
2nd 30% fails, seems iffy. Some would ask for a split.
2nd 30% boom, majority will ask for clean spear split.

3) 3rd 30% goes in, everyone will give lots more damn.
3rd 30% fails, seems less iffy. Some would ask for split.
3rd 30% booms. Majority will ask for clean spear split.

Now let's assume at each step, the whole party discussed whether to scroll it or not.

Before scrolling starts, there's a possibility some would be in favour of not scrolling, and some would be in favour of scrolling.

When 1st 30% goes in, mix opinions as well. Some would opt to stop scrolling.
When 2nd 30% goes in, mix opinions again. My gut feeling tells me majority would stop scrolling here? Idk.
When 3rd 30% goes in, mix opinions again. My gut feeling tells me majority would stop scrolling here? Idk

Those who opt not to scroll before scrolling starts, are they entitled to 3 30% faltiz?
Those who opt to stop scrolling after 1 30% passed, are they entitled to 3 30% falitz?
And so on...
It becomes really conplicated because the situation has already occured and not in the midst scrolling. To simplify things, just split the clean faltiz. However, there's really no wrong option here. It's deciding which is more correct than the other.

I actually always 30% the decents weapons that we get from runs, that is actually because i like to 30 it. I didnt say anything to him because he asked to scroll at as he said "lemme scroll it". If i lose money its because i wanted to 30 them because i offered it, some times we get good weapons from it, and i just take the mesos used on it and split the rest. But if he dont want to split the finished one its fine, its his decision and that that wont change.

By letting him/her/them scroll it, it is implied that you are gifting it to him/her/them. No splits. Clean value split if the group really wants to complain about it.

And I say this as someone who's been scammed out of splits countless times.
