He should do that if we are discussing etiquette, cuz you should behave yourself by that.

After thinking a little bit of what I said about Etiquette.
Yeah, he should ask you if you were in the entrance map before him.
This part is what I think is wrong in my understanding of Etiquette.
No difference between the entrance or the other side of the map.
I take what I said this part above back.

I was just sharing my understanding and thoughts on this situation.
Some people have different understandings and disagreements, and that's fine, I could be wrong.
I'm pretty sure the Blacklist owner and the community has a full picture of this incident now and learn from this situation to improve the server and community.
Blacklist owner can decide whatever it is or ask further if she has more questions.

And I want to say it again, I don't know both of you personally, and I don't hate or blame both of you, just sharing thoughts.

 

You are equating two completely different situations. I was sitting at the top of the map, actively moving characters in. And when I saw you, I immediately started telling you that I was there. You have still yet to refuse that this is true.

You are claiming to have been sitting at the bottom of the map for an hour before climbing up the jq. I honestly do not remember if I saw your character there when I first tp-ed to that map on my bishop. I see afk characters scattered around the server all the time, and they do not register to me. Certainly, if you were there and you had told me the channel was taken as I walked past you, I would have left.

I never walked past her between my first and second runs. All my characters stayed at the top of the map between my two runs. If I did walk past her, it would have been before my first run, which was about half an hour before the incident.

You know your argument is weak - by your own admission, you do not believe in it. You are making a bad faith argument and trying to equate your situation with mine in order to make my argument look weak. However, our two situations are not the same at all. You sitting afk at the bottom of the jq for an hour is not at all the same as me sitting at the top, actively moving characters in, and immediately giving you notice of my existence when I see you.

I was pretty annoyed by all this when it happened. I wanted to bring this up to others to see what they thought. I think I've said everything I have to say. I still do believe you deserve to be on the blacklist, but I'll leave that up to the thread owner. Best of luck with your situation at work - I hope you have better access to coffee in the future.

you two can have an entire discussion of it.

And the reason why we cant cope with the coffee machine man was that

I was almost inclined to agree with you, until i thought about it more and still to a degree, i think the situations are a little different. Hunting for mini-bosses for NX is a little different in the sense that they appear once every X-amount of hours and i would say most people have an unwritten rule on them that they get hunted and you only hold that map if you ~mapowner. With Krex, its always there. All you have to do is switch channel and it'll still be there! Personally, the issue i see with what Casaba did is go into a map, that someone was OUTSIDE of the entrance and said "taken" and still decided to go in. As others have said, you could have cc'd and found an empty channel. If Casaba had no warning, and there was no one outside the entrance, and they went inside and found someone inside that told them to cc, i'd feel a little more sympathy as they would lose a run if they left. But Casaba intentionally ignored someone outside saying "taken" and decided to proceed. If they dc'd for changing channels, you just relog back in! it costs maybe...1 minute of your time? or well in casaba's maybe a few more for all the characters, but it avoids this whole mess theyre now involved in.
