I've been here long enough to have seen every blacklist thread go through these weird phases where its a bunch of people with strong opinions arguing. All this "drama" is run of the mill bickering that would usually get shut down and cleaned up by whoever the forum janitor was. Since we chased away the only active one we have, I think this thread should remind everyone why we need a Dave or Elmo or Evan or Andreas or a John. We need more forum mods to help keep the discourse civil. Hopefully staff takes note of this thread and looks for a new one soon.

Anyways the thread still serves a purpose. It'll get through this phase and get back to normal. I look forward to when we can all dunk on the guy that thinks scamming people is the right way to play a 20 year old 2d side scrolling game about hitting and killing mushrooms and slimes.

 

I think the community definitely should voice out their feelings and thoughts about whatever going on but this page (244 to be exact) just now seems like a page of people NOT doing that unless the memes and he said she said is your way of voicing your thoughts/opinions then just ignore my post about this whole thing. I will also admit that I check the black list more than anything else on the forums so please don’t think I am an unbiased/neutral or whatever. Anyways GL and HF

If this were AITA, we'd be at the point where it's an ESH moment. (Everyone Sucks Here)

Is anybody going to change their mind about the other?
Do you see the community rallying behind one person or the other?
No, you're all just cranky at each other and venting.
Nobody is getting added to the Blacklist, nobody is going to magically be convinced to ostracize anybody.

I think Disney might have an important lesson for everyone here:

Petition to blacklist everyone who keeps responding by just yelling and not giving any evidence
