What i said just a fact, what u asked its a obvious economic question. if u not admire the person who answar ur quetion, u will be alone like now.Knowlage is power, but u may not need,
Did you ask him though? That is part of your responsibility. General consensus in this server is that you pay when you get the goods. That means if you die and there is no res, you don't pay.
Okay, before this drama turns into another 8 page discussion, like ImVeryJelly said earlier, buyer pays for zak helm if they get a helm. If they don't for whatever reason, they don't pay. It would be a blacklist reason if he took helm and then disappeared, but he died before ever getting a helm. That sucks for you, but nothing for the blacklist. Also, I never heard of a buyer paying for apples. Is that even a thing? I joined royals late 2017 and both bought and sold services many times. Never once have I paid or been paid for appos.
This is an open and close case. Buyer pays for zhelm after-> looting it's that simple. Your starting to make yourself look bad now
Kind of a courtesy thing not mandatory. In @fegaterino's defense a couple apples for screwing up a zak run isnt the end of the world..
So its always the buyer first not seller? even though its not my fault he died and he didnt mentioned need res in the first place. I just pointed it out I didnt say anything "RUDE" or "?????". Its all good
He bought helm. He didn't get helm, so he didn't pay. It's really that simple. Not saying it's your fault he died, but he doesn't have to pay for a helm he didn't get.
It's a private business, there's no buyer or seller first, it's just that most other sellers will not blacklist or chase the buyer if they died or lost the ability to loot the helm, they will just eat the loss and move on (for example, buyer dc or buyer telling you "Oh, im sorry, my grandman just called me and I have to go, sorry about that" and leaves the run). Since you run the business differently (buyer need to pay up if they lost the ability to get the item), you might need to advertise that so buyers would know (note that because of this rule of yours, you may not get a lot of buyers, since other people don't charge if the buyer don't get the item based on their own rules) - for example, payment BEFORE service so you 100% have the money.
As a seller you need to take in account that buyers DIE in runs. Either thue mistake/ loss in hp pots / go afk. In this case he died and in according to your words because he was 'afk' However he came back before he despawned and you could have used ressurection normally since i do see HS as a buff. If you did not have ressurection or did not use it then you dont get paid. In normal runs people tend to always bring a bishop with ressurection incase the buyer dies, somtimes they even bring a bucc with them so they can use ressurection 2 times. this will ensure the buyer living the run since you can reimain dead for +- 10 min befor repsawning in town, so lets say 2 he dies 9min > 1st ress > then he dies again > 9min again 2nd ress total time that he was dead 18min. Normal a run takes 10-15min and sometimes even less so 100% guarantee on getting paid It can also happen that a buyer DC in the run, in this case you need to take your loss. You cant expect him to pay for the run or the apples, it is part of the risk when selling services. No helm = no payment thats the general rule
Royals tends to run on Caveat Venditor As a seller it is your duty to vet the buyer, make sure they understand how the run works, ensure they are kept alive, have the proper pets, have the proper potions, etc. A Bishop is often included to act as buyer insurance, as they can Ress, combine with a Bucc/TL that's 2 ress (~20 minutes) Which is enough for like 90% of Zak runs. As sellers you still get EXP and anyone in the party can instead loot the Zhelms for their own character. So you have not 'lost' anything. Generally the Reason Zhelm costs what it does is it's basically designed for people to break even on apples, while getting EXP from killing a boss. If the buyer dies, either reduce your own costs by not using apples or just leave the run. I've seen plenty of runs where if we didn't get a buyer we switched to Gizers.
Since I did zakum alot back in the days, and this is actually a member from my guild I will post the following about this situation: When you buy a zakum helm as a buyer or skillbook you only pay after you looted your zakum helm or skillbook or both. However, this is a situation where buyer indeed die or dc, and then it's about a refund of used onyx apple . I wanna handle this situation and therefore I wanna ask my member @fegaterino to ask this Buyer to refund. If not, I gonna give you the used onyx apple because I don't want this to go any further.
Unless the seller stated this and buyer agreed to those terms, he does not have to refund any apples the sellers decided to use. There were 6 people in the party. 1 Was the buyer, 1 was a bishop. Let's assume all the other 4 players used apples. Since the screenshots were taken on the last body, they may have used 2 apples each. 6.5m x 8 apples = 52m So buyer does not have to pay for helm since he died, but he still should pay, potentially, the same price as a helm for the apples used, is what you're saying?
I wanna handle this. Lately this blacklist thread is used for sutiation like this . I just don't want 10 pages again of noncense. I gonna refund it anyways if people complain about some onyx apple .
