Threaten works the same way here as it does in Artale iirc and all Paladins in Artale spam threaten in every boss. However, their bossing is usually in a full stack of party where it's more beneficial the more lines of damage that are dealt.

Personally, I don't use Threaten on Royals cause I'm too lazy but on Artale I use it

    Hello everyone
I have a quick and easy question:

I'm training a paladin (grinding instead of leeching).
I'm using decent gear, accuracy pots (basket) and attack pots (40 att popsicle to appos for 100 att even).
I'm level 81 now. I've been training at Booper Scarlions (ftp2) since level 65.

So the question is - where should I go next???

I've been thinking of moving on to himes but I can't party there until level 95. I guess I could grind there solo, if it's better than ftp2, which I doubt, since I have crazy dmg on Booper Scarlions. I could also just go gallopera, same logic as himes.

Then there's JR Newties who are weak to fire, which sounds like the next best spot for leveling at 81+ fire affiliation pally.

Question is where to train? Do I opt for ele dmg? If so, what are good spots for each elemental damage? I need to decide now if ice or lightning first.
If I don't care about elemental dmg, I guess it answers itself - go where priests train.

    Thoughts?

Your best exp options are Romeo/Juliet Pq if you can find a group, and ppq. If you want to grind while searching for group, i recommend newties, kentaurs, or boopers. Once you get to 90+ go to himes with priest. But the most underrated one is Nintos in ninja castle, go there as soon as you can hit them. They have the best exp:hp ratio, even better if in a group of 2-3 ppl.

Thanks for the replies. I don't want to pq or leech, therefore power grinding is the way to go.
From your answers, I gather there's little to no use for my elemental dmg? Since I'm gonna go to the regular training spots?

What are the Nintos weak to?

Is there no mob that is weak to ice/lightning/fire that is also a regular training spot for levels 90+? (since I value my acc+dmg as having level 90ish)

Sorry to necro this topic, but I've seen the subject of 1h vs 2h come up a lot with beginner Paladins (people believe that blast reaches further with 2h).
Blast seems to be fixed in terms of hitbox, but with ACB (and obviously with Slash Blast as it's the same skill) there's definitely some difference, though its nothing significant (about 3 pixels).

For anyone wondering: (ignore the chat i was streaming my screen)

That looked close to a full character width of difference to me, def more than 3 pixels

    Edit:

    2h

    1h:

Note how your name tag extended to the edge of the platform in 2h, and is touching the left edge of the rightmost circle in 1h

Hi, I've recently noticed that the weapon "The Beheader" has even more range (attack distance) than a normal 2h sword. I haven't checked the range on ST or Claymore yet, as I can't wear any of them right now on my pally (no dex, low level).

Can any of you veteran pallys tell me if the Beheader'range is unique or shared by other 2h swords? Also, assuming the range is unique, does that mean that a beheader could be useful in some situations?

Blast range is fixed, it doesn't depends on the weapon type.
And yes, different 2H swords have different attack range, maybe @pragmasaurus can explain further since I saw he already tested it.
I don't see much of a point in testing the different 2H swords because it won't affect anything except for ACB in the end-game.
To answer your question, it will not make Beheader or any other 2H sword of the same class useful, because the difference is minimal and attack speed is much more important.
