There is that map with mavericks in the Tokyo airship that got huge spawn, it should be better than ToT As for the zak times it depends on what buffs you have like se, si, echo etc If you use skull without si you'd be very slow and it will take ages to solo, probably like 2 hours
If your planning on using apples i would say about a 2 hours run? Should be pretty fun and dont forget to hammer off cd!!
If you are mostly a solo player, I would definitely add it before. If you mostly do stuff with friends, it is possible to skip it until later but it is not a huge investment if you decide to go for it earlier (only 9 points needed).
Thank you both. I have been joining a couple of public HT run as cr attacker and seduce target with zero death so far. (17k HP) Although 90% of the time I still get rejected or no reply at all from the host, it doesn't stop me from asking. =) So fellow Paladins, believe in your character and do not give up. Is one point in holy worth it for holy-weak mobs until you start maxing later or is it negligible/useless? Blast being lower than powerstrike was really mind-blowing and sad. Two points in gaurdian (1hbw hammer bro) after acb has proved to be infinitely more useful than level two blast, I recommend this if you can get quick levels in your early 12X and just go with it. 1% procs more than you think especially in bosses like pap, and like I said, infinitely better than the first two points in blast (which is useless for about 4 full levels depending on sp allocation) and it's passive. Fantastic skill, thinking of getting "stance" to 1 minute cast then gaurdian to 20, then max stance. How fast is monster magnet recast? Rush has a bit of a delay. If it's spammable I think one point will be great. I was thinking magnet would be good for "saving" party members or ppl/buyers getting mobbed. Does it work on shao summons? Anyway, love the class so far. I have a shad and sair and it's soooo nice to just smash things for huge damage instead of all the skill juggling/tech of those two classes
Holy charge is not fully elemental at level 1, it's only like 40% elemental or so (so you will get x1.2 damage instead of x1.5 on holy weak) so the damage it does isn't really different from the other charges, unless that mob is strong against everything except holy. You can get 1 point just to see how it looks like but it won't be really useful in practice. I don't have magnet myself but I heard from other Paladins that it's good in shao mobs since it only brings the mobs away and not the boss himself (kinda like ninja storm). But it also got less than 50% success chance at level 1 (42% I think) which isn't that good and it can't freeze like blast with ice charge. You should max blast early on instead of wasting point on stuff like guardian, having max blast at lvl 135 will be a big advantage and allow you to do full damage in stuff like krex and other bosses and lvl rapidly. On the other hand without blast you'd do trash damage and won't be able to do quick runs. You can try grinding but bossing is usually a lot faster
Monster Magnet is useless because of its low range and inaccuracy. Rush works fine against Shaolin mobs as Blast prioritizes the boss and not the summons. This means you can flinch the boss with Blast and rush the 3 summons away.
Blast will still be maxed before 135 even with the 2 points in gaurdian, max acb 1 rush, 1 HH. then the usual forks in the road
I like this, not because it is efficient, but because you are doing it and you enjoy it. That is what paladin is all about. There is no optimal way to play this class and as long as you enjoy it, you keep doing you. Furthermore, monster magnet is a skill I barely use and finally, I do not suggest 1 hard point in holy charge. Your other elements will most likely do a very similar damage and you wont need to recast every 20 seconds Last point on blast vs Power strike, the horizontal range is so much better on blast and this point alone makes the skill better, even though it is weaker at lvl 1. How do you hit Shao and rush the 3 summons at the same time? I always hammer freeze it and wait for shao to jump, then rush the summons.
