I'm curious to know, where do you all farm event ETC items? Do you have a specific map or just find any flat map you can 1h mobs in?

Paladins excel at farming in ToT (due to long platform and good mob density). I recommend obv4/5 for maximum xp output. Rush from one side of the platform to the other, hammer and rush again and everything dies.

Also. Neo Tokyo has great maps for this with good drops. I recommend the first map with the tanks and overlords (juicy 60% scrolls) and neo tokyo skies (insane map layout and xp)

    Good luck hunting

This is one of the few things I have not done much tbh. My patience to run things over and over again is very low (ironic since I made a 2nd paladin).
If any other paladin who has experience with that could chime in it would be really appreciated!

My best tip would be to learn every bosses elemental weakness. Furthermore, try to dodge 1/1's by running into the boss to take the touch damage. Furthermore, 1/1 might not be deadly 2x in a row due to achilles. Will always leave you with 15% hp

    Yooo Ferndoe!

MOST of the time its easy. All you gotta do us rush him to the right, and use ice charge and blast. When clones appear, just use HH to freeze them so they aren't annoying. Since you were already hitting the boss with blast, it will stay locked on to him. This is also true for most melee classes as far as I know.

When it gets complicated, is when you go with a ranged partner who needs the clones to be separated. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to handle this. In order to separate, AS SOON AS clones appear you rush them to the left and they will be frozen and out of the way. But you have to have great timing, because if you don't, you will also push the boss to the right, and he will be all mixed up with the clones. The part I really don't understand, is how the exact placement mechanics of rush work. Because I swear to god, I can be well to the left of the boss, but when I rush, it will still grab him and push him left with the clones somehow. Like, i can be 1-2 character widths left of the boss, but when i rush left, it still grabs him and pushes him left. Other times I'm trying to push him right and it doesn't push him at all.

Basically, if I don't get the rush perfect when the clones 1st appear, it becomes a total cluster fuck and there's no way to control which mob gets pushed where, and you better hope you can just power through and kill everything.

Haplo, do you have any insight into this?

@Fergerar @Brambleshire Are we talking about Dojo for belt or Shaolin? I hope I don't have the wrong thing here !!
I can offer advice for Shaolin. For rushing the clones out of the way. What I like doing is initially rushing him to the right and then to separate the clones try hitting Shaolin with blast and rushing left while he is in the kb animation. Furthermore, another trick is to rush left when he flies in the air and cannot be targeted. And yes, reset the 120s freeze duration with hammer every 90s or so. Rush acquisition is quite big so that is why you keep grabbing the boss even if are to the left of him. also, using ice ACB will remove freeze because Stun takes precedence over Ice. So if you freeze the mobs with an initial rush that didn't work, dont start using ACB everything will become chaotic. Just wait for Shao to go up or do the kb trick I showed you. Rush is extremely buggy and gets canceled when the mob is in Iframes/animation.

Omg yes. I guess I'm crazy! Idk, I guess Shao looks like a dojo so my brain went immediately to shao.

Well its all good because I've been meaning to ask about this for awhile. Thanks for those tips! I'll try them out!
Am I correct that the clones need to be separated when your partnered with ranged classes? How do I really know when it matter is they are separated or not?

Also, I read the comments above about cwk, and how its generally best to just use blast to single target since each boss has a different weakness. They were saying that its best to focus on the archer boss first, which I've been doing, but what about when archer is dead? How do I get a confirmation of a lock on on thief or warrior? Is there ever a time i should be using ACB on cwk bosses?

And another question if you don't mind, some cwk parties ask me to just attack the mage. They say that is best for me because its single target and I can help focus it down due to its holy weakness, while the rest of the meelee party goes down for the warrior thief and archer. What is actually more optimal? Am i better up top focusing on mage, or should i go down and focus on melee bosses?

So yeah, about separated clones from boss, ask your ranged partner. Unless its a sair, I'm pretty sure its adviseable to move em out of the way.

For Cwkpq: Attacking the mage is the absolute best scenario for you. Paladin holy damage is insane and having a 1v1 makes a really optimal run. I am pretty sure ACB is never advisable in CWKPQ due to having terrible element alignment.

For your second question: Whichever boss you hit first is whatever boss you are going to be locked onto until it dies. So if you hit the archer first, make sure you are using the proper element. When that boss dies, check your damage and check which boss you are hitting (adjust your elements accordingly). Once you hit blast on one target, you will keep hitting that target until it dies. This is true for almost all scenarios out there (It seems to work differently when I fight Kachuu Machuu and the flying ninja guys spawn).

Gl sir, feel free to ask any questions
