So I was in Ant Tunnel because I had my Finding the Striped Egg quest having me look for Frozen Eyes On my way I realized I wanted to get 10 Tough Drake skin for the Horntail Quest. So I started killing Drakes to get skin, and they started dropping Herbs. Weird, I figured it must have been one of my 3 mobs, so I collect 5 herbs. Then I kill a horny mushroom and I get a Hay from it. Weird, but okay whatever I only needed 1 and I couldn't get that to drop again. I move on to Frozen Eyes I want that Striped Egg. And then ...Frozen Eyes dropped Seeds (And thankfully FINALLY the egg) Attached Screenshot showing my quest screen. Showing Seed from Frozen Eye (I did not get screenshots from Drake or Horny Mushroom) I have thrown away all 3 items to not get advantage from wrong mobs, but wanted to report this as a bug. (I've got video proof of me deleting the items if mods are concerned) Wanted to report that somehow the wrong mobs dropped my items for my Growth Powder request. Thanks.
Our group also wondered about this unnatural behavior. After investigating, we have confirmed that all the enemies presented in this quest drop items even though they are not presented in the quest. It seems that some members have taken advantage of this glitch, but does our use of it constitute abuse? Also, are there any plans to fix this? I'm so worried that I can only sleep at night. lol I can be careful not to use this glitch. thank you.
