Crusher always stabs so it always calculates the STRX5 formula, while fury always slashes. That's the reason why Drks use spear and not pole arm, pole arm is strong when slashing but weak when stabbing so it's bad with crusher.
Drk actually have the most stable damage of all the classes. You have 80% mastery, while the rest either have 60% or have criticals that make their damage unstable (like archers or NLs)

Alright, thanks for your answer. I knew this since I have mained DK since 2007.
However, I have not really been interested in DPS calculations until recently and your previous post made me aware of something that I had not thought of before.

not good with math, how to calculate the average damage output based on the range obtained?
like for crusher, any way to calculate the damage per hit?

This was what I was looking for too. I believe it's tricky. First I thought that if my Damage Range is 5000~10000, I would just take the average, 7500, and multiply it by 1.7×2 and this would mean I hit on average 25500 per line with Crusher and Berserk. However, this is not true as the displayed damage range "lies" and your damage is actually based on an invisible damage range. There is no simple magic number to convert the visible range to this invisible, effective range. To do it, you need to add in STR, DEX and I think also weapon attack to the formula, which is useless since you could just calculate the invisible range directly instead.

Hmmm I tested out something using an excel with my noobish calculations. Shall share with u guys later to seek inputs..

Not 100% but I guess good enough, at least for me.

Ok. So i tested 4 ranges, observe the damage output and plotted them. Then i plotted best line to get the formula (in red).
