The main post of this guide has not been updated in a long time and therefore parts of it may not be true any more. How about you try Land of Wild Boar II instead? In my opinion, it has always been the better map.
After the new patch, can anyone try if Hex attack buff got fixed? I don't think they did fix hex but would be nice if I get confirmation
No change has been made to Dark Knight skills in Update #50: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-50-22-02-2018.116156/ In Old Source (prior to update #1), Hex was broken in the sense it removed Apples or whatever pot you used, no matter how good/bad. This got fixed loooooong time ago, so Hex will now provide +15 W.Att, but not override for example a Heartstopper (you will now have 60 W.Att, not 15, not 75) I don't know if there is any other bug with Hex? As I've said earlier, this guide is VERY old and some parts are clearly outdated. This was written in Sep 14, 2015: Plenty said it would stack, acting like a 15 W.Att permanent boost (which it doesn't) . I don't know if this is the way Hex was designed to work though, maybe someone else can confirm.
What you guys will recommend about the skill build after the Sp resets.. Pole arm fury or Spear Fury btw DrK using Sky skis. This build still up to date ? @Nessi i guess your the person to answer that.
As can be read in the guide, Dragon Knights will be left with 37 SP do do "anything" with. Since Update #50 the skill Power Crash actually works on bosses, and most importantly, on Horntail. Therefore, this skill should be taken into consideration. Power Crash does the same thing at Lv.1 as it does at Lv.20 but with 100% success rate instead of 24%. My suggestion for future DKs would be to spend 23 of these 37 SPs on maxing Power Crash (requires Lv.3 Dragon Blood too) and let the remain 14 SP go into Spear Fury (if you are Hybrid) or Dragon Blood if you are pure Spear. The alternative would be for hybrid DKs to max Spear Fury or pure Spear DKs to max Dragon Blood (not recommended!) which would both leave Power Crash at Lv.4 (36% success rate) This skill will allow you to remove Horntail's Weapon Defense Up skill of +85 W.Def with just 1 click (or ~3 clicks if left at Lv.4), effectively increasing the overall DPS of your party.
Iron Will is practically useless, yes. That is why Hybrid build is always the best choice in 2nd job. Whether or not it is so in 3rd and 4th could be discussed, but not here. The discussion about buff for Iron Will could have its own thread too, but I doubt it will be a long discussion.
The guide says, "Power Crash is never needed for any boss or training". I'm currently 119 DK, I have 0 in power crash. Should I put the remaining 3 into it or max out my spear fury? Spear crusher and PA fury are already maxed
this guide is extremely outdated... Do not trust it 100% until a new one is published somewhere. Power crash skill is actually a must have skill (doesn't mean you should reset sp now) now for Drks, hope you will find a way to add some points to it even later on
Later later later in 4th job you will have extra SP left over once you have mastered essential skills (berserk, stance, beholder, achilles 30, beholder hex, maple warrior, rush). Then you can use those left over SP to power crash skill (since magnet skill is useless)
Same for 30-70. For 3rd job, i would say everything the same until the last part instead of "Anything" add 3 to Dragon Blood and 20 to max Power Crash. That will leave you 14 for anything*... *since Dragon Blood is useless & I love how much up level 3 Sacrifice drops, I will add all 14 to Dragon Fury (Spear)*
Since this guide is out dated... any thoughts on 4th job SP builds after Berserk 30? Power Stance >Achilles>Hex>Aura ???? Does Aura healing correctly stop at 50% hp? does it still revive on death in this server? If Hex correctly doesn't override att potions, would it be prioritized over Achilles? Thanks for looking
After Berserk 30 it depends whether you can get MW from people in boss runs or not. If yes then stance > MW, and if no then MW > stance. Once you got these two skills, go Achilles. Afterwards you can do whatever you want, but I'll answer your question regarding Beholder: Aura will stop healing at 50% HP & it doesn't revive after death anymore. Hex doesn't override attack pots if it's greater than hex's buff. I still rather go Achilles first since its damage reduction is significant. Maxing Hex gives only 15 attack, 3 more than warrior elixir, and it's quite useless if you're planning to use Heartstoppers often at boss runs.
thanks for the reply! very helpful. I thought that Maxing Hex gave you 25 attack and thought it might make more sense to get that before achilles
Yeah, only +15 weapon att sadly. It also gives +100 weapon def, +100 magic def, +50 avoidability and +25 accuracy when maxed.
