I think the only way to avoid that is to look out for the marks on the ground before those "pillars" fall. Having someone hasting you can be helpful. Another way would be to get hit by something else instead of the falling pillar. "Something else" in this case would be Zakum's body. This hurts.

I got mine first time, and I was under the impression it was supposed to drop every time if you have the quest active. Have you spoken to both "Wiz the Librarian" and "Chief Tatama"?
Yes spoken to both of them. Received the quest to hunt for the necklace from Chief Tatama. I have the quest in my Quest list, its under quest helper too. So its weird that after 25 Griffeys ( as of today ), it still doesnt drop any..
Hi guys, My spearman is my first charater in maple royals so im not even close to be well funded, so i put 55 base dex to be able to hit monsters without need of equips, my question : Every str add +2 to the damage ( +1 em min att and +3 in base att ) , so if instead of scrolling my equips with dex, i scroll them with str will i be okay? I'm currently at lvl 47
no, mw gives you bonus stats based on your base stats so you wanna have all in str for a big bonus and scroll dex equips
In addition to this, there are more items you can scroll for dex, than for str (earring, cape, helm). Especially as a DrK, you want to keep your dex as low as possible (preferably 4) and put the rest into str. So you'll probably end up wanting to reset out that dex later on.
So as i'm just lvl 47, would it be better if i started a new character? Because spend 51 ap resets in dex plus the hp washing is extremely expensive
um...i accidently put all my leftover sp after maxing spear crusher, polearm fury, dragon roar, and elemental resistance into dragon blood and sacrifice... so i have 0 sp in spear fury. Would i have to take them out to put 30 into spear fury...? cause 1 3rd job sp reset is around 9k nx and thats rip nx
the important skills for you to have are spear crusher, polearm fury, elemental resistance and dragon roar, you don't need spear fury. you did okay.
I'm a pure PA DK and I've already bought a 125att 16str snowboard, is Polearm crusher really bad for bossing because of the jab?
