DAZIUNDA just RIP'd my YouTube account lol no mercy was shown

Private server videos are disappearing from YouTube at an alarming rate!

I got an email from Youtube saying "How Do I Make The Latest MapleStory Private Server?" has been removed completely from YT; YOU HAVE RECIEVED A COPYRIGHT STRIKE FROM THE COMPANY DAZIUNDA, LLC.! This is insane in the membrane! Who do they think they are?! I haven't even began making a Private Server yet and they claim that video is COPYRIGHTED?!?!? We are absolutely NOWHERE ANYWHERE near the point where companies should take videos of video game gameplay down! Video games are not like a full TV episode or movie. Video game gameplay is our original footage, not hteirs, they need some serious counseling!

I suspect this is Nexon Korea's handiwork.

They claim I exposed the URLs of the private server sites in my video and that my video can't be recovered. I only recall mentioning FluffyMS, ExtaliaMS - both server emulator sites now defunct and even that won't make them retract the claim! And I also mentioned MapleLegends - which even though is still operating, is losing popularity. I can't believe even the simple utterance of a private server or server emulator name got me that strike!

And once again, why won't they accept "Emulation/Emulators are a legal thing, as its purely community written code in order to emulate/preserve games in various devices/consoles. In this case, preserving a lost game. All written Emulation code are written by the community members who created the emulator and does NOT infiltrate any intellectual property of the respective owners. No modifications of existing code has been altered either. So absolutely everything is done the right and legal way."? it's like iOS jailbreaking tools; I.E Installous, IAP Cracker, LocalIAPStore, etc. And think about this: eventually, the discontinued game console/cartridge/disc will be plucked from circulation from Ebay/auction sites as if it suffers too many accidents during shipping and handling, it will be damaged beyond repair! Plus, spare parts needed to keep these old game consoles running are becoming scarce and tougher to find. This is the whole reason why emulators exist! Server emulators are also another form of privilege escalation as it allows the user to experience what GMs (Game Moderators) do in the MMORPG. All these things follow the same principal: they're a form of privilege escalation.

If you have filed an email to this company and failed the first time, try listening to this guy's link to improve your message: and . Hopefully this can improve your approach in a counter notification you're about to submit. And hopefully someone out there has the resources and audacity to meet these people face-to-face and finally knock some sense into them or settle an agreement.

All I did was ask how do I make my latest version MS private server and only mentioned what MapleLegends did to me as well as use a photograph to illustrate my point when I asked that question. And once again, FluffyMS and ExtaliaMS are now DEFUNCT. They're discontinued, dead, gone, kaput, extinct, no longer operating. And yet these guys strike me for "exposing URLs in the videos". They sullied my YouTube account and destroyed it's almost 10 year perfect record!

We need to teach those clowns AND (especially those/the boss/the CEO of) Nexon Korea Corporation a lesson about emulators ONCE AND FOR ALL! Everything has a limit and I say Nexon Korea Corporation has gone too far this time!

Harassments and torture has got to go against YouTube's community guidelines/TOU!

And we've been using MapleStory code "illegally" via BannedStory since the start! So is that considered copyright infringement? What about Maplesim?

I need all your opinions on whether or not to retract this copyright strike from this video. I was merely talking about how toxic some private server operators can be.

Guys, listen up, I JUST GOT MY COPYRIGHT STRIKE RELINQUISHED! Because listen to this other important piece of information: 9 years ago, I uploaded a clip from Superman II. Immediately after publishing the clip, it got matched content to a company named "MC for Warner Bros". I did a research on this company and the frequency of the results for this company came back slim; there was "Warner Music Group", "Warner Bros Entertainment", but no "MC for Warner Bros"! It seems any videos of characters like Batman or Superman will instantly be claimed by this so-called "MC for Warner Bros". But after some research and extensive data digging, I found this:

But yes, there are Karens out there trying to extort or take advantage of YouTube's broken copyright strike system to harass us for the lols. So let's dispute those strikes and see what happens, because listen to this tip I got from Asynchrobatic:

I'm gonna be honest, this seems like some university student who is trying to take things down in the hopes they get hired by those companies. (I have SERIOUS doubts that the clients they have listed are legitimate.)

1. They don't have a KR-BRN listed at the bottom.

3. The address they have listed is for the Keimyung College University.
   
   
4. The phone number is for the business start-up incubation center at the college university.
   
   
5. Their messages are super unprofessional.
   
   
6. The FAQ on their website essentially admits that it's one person.
   

The law firm they have listed seems to be legitimate, but I have doubts that they've actually consulted with them beforehand.

Yea, I also doubt he was actually hired by nexon. Whenever they've actually cared, they've just sent a c&d to the server (which seemed to happen to the top server quite often from odin -> about 2015). It's weird to stop using c&d and hire a 1 person company so late into maplestory's lifespan. At least in the early 2010s the popular servers like Rydah, Sexy, Extalia etc directly competed with gms.

 

It really seems like this dude from this company probably reached out to Nexon and made a sales pitch to hire him to do all this private server “work”. Nexon probably was just like “sure whatever” and paid him to do whatever to mess around with these private servers that are still currently active.

Idk, I respect the hustle, but not really his methods and how he’s trying to paint himself out to be this hero to end these rogue, criminal private servers.

 

And yes, I'm referring to GLOBAL Nexon (Nex. NA, Nex. KR, Nex, JAP, etc.) Like, why would Nexon act like this to just the videos and not go after the operators themselves?
And the replies Daziunda made to me about why they took my video down make absolutely no sense.

BTW, if you read the Chinese Wikipedia page on "Private Server", you'll see that it says "Online game servers set up by individuals are not necessarily illegal. Some open source games can be set up by players themselves, and players can edit game content by themselves, in line with the spirit of free software , such as Teeworlds."

YouTube and the internet itself has so many dark and harmful stuff yet no one even gives a shit and instead they take pride in ruining fun for people…Who fucking hurt these bootlicking clowns, seriously. Just came back here to say this too, just got copyright strike by this clown of a DAZIUNDA company today from a god knows how many years ago of a mapleroyal video it was. I only ever made that 1 video... so they really went out of their way to do this shit.
