Dear sir/madam, I am a first time MsRoyals player and cannot login. Every time I select my newly made character and after giving my PIC I get disconnected with the disconnect message. I have read a lot of solutions, all tried (restarting modem, reinstall, turn off server clock, comp mode etc etc.) Unfortunately I still cannot login. I have seen some threads where a GM (Eli) asked for the IGN (mine is Skullcrackah) of the users and afterwards they were able to login, which got me thinking that I might need the same solution. Could you guys help me? I was really looking forward to play EDIT: @Tim I saw that you were a GM I hope you do not mind me tagging you, its just that I saw that you are still active at this time and had a small/faint/tiny hope that I might still be able to play Thank you Skullcrackah
Do you have a VPN installed (even if disabled)? That tends to cause issues, especially NordVPN If not, you'll need to submit a ban appeal
Yeah, the issue here is an invalid MAC address. If you have a VPN installed, you might need to actually uninstall it.
I in fact do have NordVPN installed and indeed did not use it, so I did not expect that to have been the issue. I just uninstalled the VPN, did a fresh install of Royals and it works now! Thanks to you guys I will be able to play today
Also to clarify, that's an issue from years ago so it won't be applicable anymore Nowadays, it's usually caused by some VPNs such as NordVPN or ExpressVPN
Yeah I figured that the fix might not work anymore, but I was just scrambling for solutions and there werent many to chose from. Thank you all for your help
