OPQ isn't as popular as it is fun, which is a shame as mechanically it's a solid PQ. However, in both the lobby and the sealed room boxes spawn after you clear it with the goddess' piece inside, and if you leave the room before obtaining the piece you will be locked out and unable to complete the PQ. In my opinion this is very unforgiving and beginner unfriendly, as when you're learning the PQ you might forget to get the box and won't notice until finishing on the way up and wondering why there are only 5 pieces in your inventory. It's not particularly fun gameplay to lose 15-20 minutes like this and I don't see why this has to be a mechanic at all. No other PQ has anything that is this punishing and it's not like OPQ gives OP exp rates or item rewards so a little QoL like not locking portals would help a lot. Second I would propose to make 'on the way up' work in a way that it requires at least a little bit of thinking instead of brute forcing, by making it so that on the 4x4 platforms each column can only occur once. I.e. if the first row uses platform 1, the second has to be 2-4, etc. This speeds it up by a little bit which isn't too OP (again, lack of rewards compared to CPQ2 and if you're doing this with 5 it's pretty fast anyway) but does add some strategy besides brute forcing. I am pretty sure this mechanic is already used in some GM event or other PQ somewhere too. Edit: Apperently if you beat papa pixie and get the grass, then leave the room and drop the grass on it's right spot and talk to the cloudy boy before minerva spawns he warps you to the garden again. However papa pixie will not be able to be spawned again, and you won't be able to leave without the grass in your inventory. I get that it is very stupid to do this (only did it for science) but why is it even a thing that it blocks you from leaving?
