Event Easter Event

I think for Gs5 the spawn rate is a little low though. I tried few maps and only in gs5 1 egg spawn like every 15 minutes on average

 

I got 2 gold eggs in about 1 hour. Some egg monsters drop them or mesos, just gotta be lucky. Have fun everyone and goodluck! :3

 

Here's what I found so far inside the eggs besides the Easter Charm:
10 The summoning Rock
10 The Magic Rock
50 Green Easter Egg (recovers 200 HP and MP)
Egg (recovers 50 hp)

What is the number of times that is considered "enough" times? haha

100 times. You need to give Mad Bunny 100 eggs to receive the chair. When you talk to Mad Bunny, click "what I need to do" and he will say 100 times

 

100 seems a bit over the top, considering that I've spent 3 hours straight training today and only managed to get a whopping total 2 eggs. Doing some simple math, that'd mean I'd have to invest 150 hours over a 25-day period (March 25-April 17), which averages out to about a necessary 6 hours per day spent grinding just to get that chair. And I guess since having a full-time job taking up 8 hours of my day, and another 8 hours per day being taken up by sleep, I'd only have (on average) 2 hours per day left to do stuff other than Maple Royals, assuming I really, really wanted that chair (thank god I don't give a flying fuck about it, but I pity whoever really does want it ).

Either way, I suppose can't complain since I'm getting lots of other free stuff from the eggs. Feel the Bern!

 

I don't think grinding for the chair is worth it considering the drop rate and how long we would have to grind for just to get it. I like to play Royals, but not waste my life away grinding for a chair. I actually do enjoy going out and having a life.

the egg rate is low, the drop rater is even lower, almost all the prizes are crap, but i think 100 is doable in 25 days if you spend like 1-2 hours farming each day at a high spawn map.

 

That's just it though.

Surely, I could spend 2 hours a day farming at HHG3 or Teddies. But why would I do all of that work solely for the chair when I could be making meaningful progress in the game by training on Petrifighters, Temple of Time monsters, Gobies, or a myriad of other monsters?

The beauty of last month's event (wish tickets and envelopes) was that you could train wherever you wanted and otherwise make no significant deviations from your standard training routine, while still making meaningful progress in the event.

I wish the drop rate is a little higher too Not enough time to grind for 100 eggs if the droprate is so low And this event lasts for only less than a month </3 I really want the chair~

 

100 Golden eggs, good luck to those who are hunting them. I also think the drop rate of it is way too low, for people with less than 4hrs maple per day it is unlikely they will achieve this goal.

I think 100 eggs is not that hard to get I was grinding now while watching video for 45min and got 6 :3 Also good, it shouldn't be easy to get but still possible to achieve. And we still getting other chairs and items from eggs I don't rly care about this chair since it's untradable, but if someone really want it then well you will have to spent some time

 

I'm sorry for spreading negativity towards the event once again, but I honestly don't think this event is right. @Pleiades is right. The current drop rate of the eggs is way too low, and unfair as well. I killed around 15 egg mobs yesterday, and not a single drop. I spent a few hours doing so, and I don't feel like wasting my time trying to farm these things off zombies or teddies, because I don't want to go all the way up to Oblivion to at least receive a little exp either. Seems unfair to me, given that "efficient farming" is more likely having a bishop, and not everyone has one (or at least me and my friends don't). Imagine the struggle for a marksman spamming Arrow Eruption within a little area of effect, compared to a bishop using genesis all over the map and even multi-clienting with a looter in order to get 100 eggs. Ridiculous.

My suggestion is to increase the drop rate, or reduce the specified number of times required to obtain the stupid chair, because how it is at the moment, seems like we're supposed to lose an absurd amount of hours, or at least I don't have the motivation to. I myself am an insane chair collector, and even one of the event's generic chairs (Cherry Blossoms Tree) is repeated from two years ago's april's chair hunt event... and that doesn't sound rewarding at all to me if I EVER manage to get a present of this event. Besides, no offense, but come on... you could be more original with the chair rewards. Same thing happened with the last two events, in where most of them were past event's repeated chairs, and that really turns me off when it comes to a "new" event eve, and I bet most of old players care about this too.

The staff took the time to code and come up with rewards suitable for an Easter event.

Don't join the event if you think the prices are generic or you don't want it, or if the effort to get it is too much for you.
It's a chair not the end of the world.

This is also not a feedback section to complain on the event.

 

We understand that some people have concerns regarding the spawn and droprate of the eggs, of course we're willing to listen to feedback on this as long as it's in the right section: https://royals.ms/forum/forums/feedback.3/ (Please only make 1 thread for this event, not multiple)

Some people think the droprate is way too low as they might not have received any or many eggs as of yet, however please keep in mind that the event has only been out for 1 day and 15 hours so far and we don't want to rush to conclusions leading to poorly executed changes. If you have farmed for a decent amount of time and you want to leave your feedback on the spawn and droprate please feel free to do so in the above mentioned section. The more detailed your feedback is (So perhaps letting us know how long you've farmed, how many eggs you got, what maps you've farmed on and what class and level you are), the easier it is for us to come to a conclusion to see whether we need to change something or not.

With that said I'll give a short reply to Javier's complaints;

Regarding repeated use of the same chair as a reward:
The situation we're in right now is simply that we have to work with the items that are already in our files, if there are no other chairs in our files that have to do with the current event it means we simply can't give different rewards. However I would also like to point out that there's a lot of newer players on Royals who were not around for the 2014 chair event and would love to also have a chance to obtain chairs they like.

Will we change the amount of golden eggs required from 100 to something else? No, an event is supposed to have players put in some form of effort to obtain rewards and not just have them handed out on day 1 or 2.
