Not Bug Engagement bug

i got engaged to someone but i never received an engagement ring, cant make another ring cause im already engaged.

 

Did you check your Etc. inventory? I expected it to be in Equips, but nope, it's in Etc.

 

nope! not in my inventory, i just have the empty ring box.

 

Pretty sure only the bridge gets an engagement ring, the groom just gets the empty ring box.
You'll get your wedding rings after the wedding ceremony.

 

thank you! i hope thats the case.. could you help me out and tell me what to do after i get engaged? i read a guide that said to talk to high priest john for a marriage certificate or something but he doesnt have anything to say to either of us
