I guess its not in my nature to ever think about the possibility I might not see someone again. I always look forward to the next time I see them, which is why I'm terrible at saying good bye. My journey with Maple is well documented in some posts I've made here on the forums, and wont bore people with the long wall of text again. If you're interested just look back into my first handful of posts here on the forums. I've been thinking about this for a long time. As I've been finding it less and less compelling to log into the game. And its not strictly because of boredom, more because its just not the same game when I first started. Theres no way i can break down every issue I have with the server as well as @auntjaemima did. So ill just say watch that if you wanna know why I'm quitting. I find it so ironic, that many of the changes that were made over the last 1 1/2 years were made with "nostalgia" or being "Gms like" in mind, yet those same changes pushed the server into a direction so far removed from those two things the Server has become Maplestory in name only, literally nothing else about Royals reflects Nostalgia or GMS-Like now. Its actually blatant false advertising. As a result I just dont find the server enjoyable anymore. The current meta game of leeching a character to HP wash and then farm all my wealth on a mage to then spend on ridiculously expensive AP Resets and White/Chaos scrolls is just the worst possible way to play Maplestory. Its all about making end game gear and leeching. And i dont think theres anyway to change the way things are now. Its been this way for far too long. No amount of back tracking or changing will fix what the server is now. Theres no adventure, or fun in that type of gameplay for me. The only thing that had me coming back was the friends I had made. Yet, those same friends have all begun to leave as well, and thusly my only reason for logging back into the game has slowly evaporated. Despite quitting, I'll still pop into shoutbox once in a while but otherwise, im done actively logging into the game. Thanks for everything. Jason
