Solved [Solution Given] [Experimental] HT Crash Test Fix

I feel that the majority of players who d/c in HT will end up d/cing while wings are still up any heads are being attacked. I have done numerous runs where wings are whited before heads are touched without any disconnect on a single client. The only way I am able to HT where heads are attacked/whited before wings are whited is if I use VMware. What's very odd is the laptop I use to mule will never disconnect or crash on normal client (w/o VMware) regardless of which way the boss is fought. I am unsure if using Nvidia graphics card has to do with the issue.

Have tried this for 2 runs using 3 directories of the 800 x 600 client (i realised when my client crashes its always the 1024 client) and so far no crashes. My sound in the system settings is muted as well, not sure if this affects anything.

 

If anyone is still experiencing crashes in HT, I suggest giving my guide a try. This solution has significantly reduced the number of crashes for everyone that has tried, however, it is limited to users who have an Intel processor with integrated graphics and are using an NVIDIA graphics card.

Problem : Mass DC in HT

DEAR GMS,

I'm still facing dc at horntail when the legs and tails have been beaten.
It happens twice this week, and I have no idea how to fix it after trying the method above this thread.
I have checked and believe it's not my internet connection issue.

 

This fix is no longer supported, but keep in mind that if you tried my fix, it's only applicable to users with a processor that has integrated graphics
