Hi there, is it possible for mapleroyal to be launched on Iphone or Samsung? I've heard that nostalgic server-Artale(another server from Nexon), allow player to operate it on cellphone or macbook. If it comes true, that will be fantastic.
As much as we’d love to have MapleRoyals available on mobile, it’s unfortunately not something we’re able to support. The game runs on an older version of MapleStory (v0.62 on v0.83), which was never built with mobile compatibility in mind. Getting it to work on iOS or Android would require rebuilding major parts of the game from scratch - including a full overhaul of the UI and control system to make it playable on smaller screens. On top of that, much of the existing content, especially bosses and gameplay mechanics, was designed specifically for keyboard and mouse input on PC. Adapting that to mobile could introduce gameplay issues or imbalance, which we’d prefer to avoid to maintain the original experience. As a server run by a small team of volunteers, we simply don’t have the resources to support a mobile platform of that scale.
