Spoiler: context vl first came out in 2022 oct, it was the first 'raid' boss that was by far the most challenging content. VL was big, bad & scary. VL challengers spent weeks and months to attempt to take down this boss, brainstorming and experimenting every iteration of party composition they can think of. Players worked with one another, guilds formed harmonious relations with other guilds for sole purpose of taking down this bad lion. It was by far the best bossing experience i've ever had in royals, the competitiveness between squads, one upping each other and racing each another to a clear. It was a joy & every clear was different and felt meaningful in its own way. If another squad clears, others would look at them as a stepping stone to improve their own. But over time and the course of many patches, VL was dwindled down significantly to be easier and its rewards were made much easier to attain and personally i feel that what was once the allure of VL has been diminished into just another checkbox to be ticked in weeklies. inevitable i guess, but still sad so i made a homage to the group of players who paved the way for VL, and also a way for me to remember those times in the event Royals closes down one day End of VL golden era : https://youtube.com/shorts/-i6LM7VBpBw hope you guys enjoy it !
Is there a way we could limit the amount of rocks that can appear in a row? In the VL I was in last night, I had a rock line which I'm fairly certain was undodgeable for archers. I believe I reacted immediately to it and even used dragon mount but it was not enough to escape in time, since I was right in the middle of it when it appeared. Felt like there was really nothing I could do in that situation except die. Sad archer life
i can confirm as i was in the VL run and watched ang die before my eyes as i flash jumped away to safety
