I'd say a way for keeping Bigfoot engaging while also fixing his brokenness is to make his jump attack work properly (damage players who are standing on the ground when Bigfoot lands) and have it deal equal or more damage to his touch damage. That way players will have to be on their toes to dodge his quake attack by jumping and they can't just Krex it by standing in one spot and holding attack for 12 minutes.
But this barely affects high level characters who easily pin it against the wall. Once Bigfoot is pinned, there's no time for it to jump. Only chief bandits who attempt to kill it with Meso explosion will suffer from this change.
My lack of general coding knowledge and internal Maple mechanics limit my view on this, but many of the bosses in the game don't have their ability to cast special attacks limited by getting pinned. I'd suggest that Bigfoot be given this same ability of being able to cast uninterrupted, but I don't know how feasible that actually is.
I feel like body guard b is a much more needed case for fixing, as well as offering better rewards from The Boss since his earrings are pointless now, like ws/cs/css/lots more nx
no, how I said on a thread about remove bodyguard B Iframe, I hate it, but that's what make the boss hard.
That's not what makes him or bf hard, it just eats time/potions. Its the same thing as w/m cancel, adds pressure by virtue of resource preparedness/management by literally wasting your time. I personally think it's a really weak way to add "difficulty". Just give the monster more hp/att/att rate, don't waste people's time though. Bodyguard b/etc are already limited by one run per day, and bf by it's hunt/supply/demand
you are just funded/washed and when you look at it everything is time/potion waste (dead hitbox) but not everyone is with same build , this "broken" iframe gives huge nightmares for unwashed or players who can't hit stable pin or distance properly at "low" lvls wash spoils alot of the game mechanics (try do this as unwashed corsair/cheif bandit/nl...)
I'm not funded or washed. If you are able to pin, you should be fine at either. Bf has extremely low kb requirement. And if you can't tank, well, bf is a melee oriented boss. However it's very hard for 3rd job archers, marksmen to kill bf w/o either washing or funding, but it is definitely possible solo or in parties. edit: it's actually really easy to BF as outlaw, cb or hermit, they all have amazing defensive/mobility techs that keep them very safe and distanced from bf, no washing/funding needed. Hardest are def sniper/ranger/mages. Worst normal class is MM, they can only pin with strafe or PKB, and good luck timing your PKB. puppet is also required. Bowmasters kb with each arrow no matter what (which is why I've suggested MM strafe get each arrow to kb after maxing marksmanship, but I dream~
Apparently BF iframes were fixed in v67, only few updates after his release. As well as all the wonky NLC/CWK mob frames, as well as giving leprechauns MP (they actually naturally have skills built in to use but no MP to cast them, as well as BF magic attack doing actual damage)
