In the hopes of the Ironman guild being able to clear Horntail, I've been grinding away at an ironman bishop which is now LVL150! Solo bossing on it is absolute agony but I'm very wealthy from Ulu2 grinding. Update 13-10-2024 Today I reached my first major achievement—the Quest Specialist Medal! I was kind of stuck in the 780s, but turning in the Maple History books unlocked a new questline that took me to that golden 800! Aside from questing, I've been hunting for some decent equips to take me from my str-less start to 90 str total. I got lucky at Henesys gachapon and got myself a level 90 crossbow and a level 90 overall, along with some scrolls to work with. The Maple gods blessed me with good scrolling luck, and I'm very happy with my current equips! The next big milestone will be 4th job, which will probably require a Hime kill or two
Day Two: No pictures as nothing of particular note happened. I did get stuck in Thailand fighting chickens for a while, since I've been going around grabbing every quest I can before setting to grind. Day Three: Back in Victoria Island, and I've gotten every quest I can. Leveled up to level 26. I've decided to put my primary focus into the Olaf quests, mostly for the snail pet, since remember, this is my second account and I cannot get NX by voting. plus I'm only letting myself get any NX items with NX I get from bossing. (I'm hoping to put together a somewhat decent outfit in the Halloween event coming up). So, as part of the Olaf quests, you have to defeat the old snail... Which I did! My first 100 NX. It's a long road to be able to Gacha. I also got the rainbow shell on my second try. The EXP from Pia's quest basically gave me 100% of a level as I went from about 60% on one level to 40% on the next. Nice. I'm at level 26 now. Short-term goals: level 30 & Ariant quests. Mid-term goal: Complete Olaf's first set of quests. Long-term goal (only because I'm not focusing on it right now): Do the scroll quest so I can start trying to scroll some stuff. I haven't picked up any interesting scrolls yet, though.

Day Four: Making progress! Level 31, which means I'm officially a brawler. The extra HP is nice but no noticeable difference beyond that yet. I wish I was faster. I miss teleport so much whenever I play a non-mage class. I am starting to notice the lack of a good weapon. Without a proper knuckle besides the free level 10 one, these octopirates took me like five minutes. But we did it! Now I mentioned wanting to finish Ariant quests, which I started. I stayed in Ariant from level 27 to 30. Now a short break to grind zombie mushrooms until I get a Maple Knuckle. I picked up the 999 quests for them and the horny mushrooms and I'm good to go. The way they spawn amuses me. Equipment-wise, I am definitely feeling behind there, too, although I've prioritized questing and leveling over equipment hunting. I picked up a leather purse with more attack than my brick from a slime or something, as well as a better pirate overall and some level 15 shoes, but nothing too impressive so far. Here's hoping the zombie mushrooms will be kind to me! If not, I might switch over to drumming bunnies, although I'm not confident enough in my stats quite yet. At least the pirate clothes are kinda cute? Short-term goal: Maple Knuckle; mid-term goal: finish Ariant quests; long-term goal: better equips and scrolling.
Day Five: Not much happened since the Overwatch Halloween update dropped and I spent most of my time playing that lol. Just grinding Zombie Mushrooms. Found a couple of claws but no knuckles so far. I did find this, and I'll use this as an opportunity to discuss my philosophy towards using equips I find on my Ironman for other characters. I feel like storing it0 and selling it on another char is still profiting off my Ironman in a more traditional sense, so I will simply be NPCing anything I find that is not relevant to Ferrro. It's sad, but such is life!

Day I Lost Count: Slooooooow going grinding in the Ant Cave for a Maple Knucke. I found like, five claws and thee lama staffs. Completed 999 horny mushooms and zombie mushrooms. Level 34. Then, as I was literally complaining to my husband out loud, it dropped! Pretty decent! Should last me well until 43. Of course, my free 60% scroll from The Rememberer failed Despite that, the damage increase is insane. I went from at most hitting 300 to seeing 800 sometimes. The accuracy is also pretty helpful, since I'm able to hit Jr Neckis maybe 50% of the time and Jr Boogies about 10 to 20, which makes boar and croc hunting much easier. Short-term goals: Turn in quests and complete as much as I can in Victoria Island, then go back to Ariant; mid-term goals: complete first Olaf quest and obtain my free pet, start hunting level 43 claw; long-term goal: complete scrolling quest. I'm now going around catching up on quests after being in the Ant Cave for so long. Grabbing my straw hat and raggedy cape today, can't wait for the insane fit upgrade.

i also have a question and i did not see that if i can acquire rush skill which needs another warrior to have rush help me get in that door for rush skill but is it fine that i can get someone to help me go in but not to kill inside map or someone in ironman guild can help me go in or how will i be able to do that.. i will have it recorded for a video
Hello Everybody, Happy Holidays to you guys! I am writing to provide an update on both of my characters since I haven't posted in a while. For my MM: Levels 110-120: These levels were business as usual with himes being a chill grind to 120! I managed to obtain 106 earring dex 70% and 41 crossbow for att 30% which should last me for a while on this account. I reached level 120 on October 3, 2024. After job advancement, I began hunting for Sharp Eyes 20 and the Bowman Storybook which is required for the snipe skill quest. Sharp Eyes 20 and the Bowman Storybook both drop from Cold Sharks which is convenient but they are annoying to hunt because of their slow. I was able to obtain 5 Sharp Eyes 20 books and a storybook after around 4 hours hunting Cold Sharks. Fortunately, I ended up passing Sharp Eyes 20 in one try! Unfortunately, the snipe skill quest requires magic rocks which are difficult to obtain if one has not completed the Alcaster's Questline so I was unable to advance forward in the quest. After obtaining Sharp Eyes 20, I obtained the Frostprey skill in leafre as well as piercing arrow and headed to the Temple of Time. The Temple of Time is an important area for Marksman because it contains Qualm Monk Trainees which is an insanely good mob to farm. The drops include earring dex 60%, dark neschere, level 100 female bowman overall, and level 100 bowman shoes. In October, my playtime for this account was reduced to just logging on for the Pierre boss. The Pierre boss event is one of the best events for ironman because you can potentially get a helmet that is equivalent to a Zakum helmet just by killing the boss. Obtaining a Pierre hat also enables you to keep rerolling your Zakum helmet until you get a godly roll every time you kill it without worrying about the Zakum helmet you previously looted. I was fortunate enough to obtain both the blue and red hats but unfortunately only 4 out of 10 helmet for dex 60% scrolls worked on the red one. The 17 str on the red hat is very useful as I work towards gathering enough str on equips to wear a neschere while capping base str at 23 which is enough for me to have base 999 dex at 200. I took a break on this account during November to focus on my hero but when the Christmas event started, I started playing this account to obtain rudolph's shiny nose, the christmas fur lump, and gelt chocolates. While hunting for dinners, I focused on killing mobs that dropped the appropriate crystal ores needed for Alcaster's quest and also crossbow for att 10 / 60% scrolls that I was lacking. I managed to reach level 127, meaning that I had to grind for the Sharp Eyes 30 skillbook from Skelesaurus which were difficult to kill. It took 2 tries and 3.5 hours but I managed to obtain Sharp Eyes 30! For my Hero: For this account, I mainly focused on doing daily bosses to obtain more NX for Gachapon while also spending burning energy in hopes for a good ifia ring. On October 6, 2024, I reached level 185. On October 19, 2024, I obtained a 4 str 5 dex ifia ring which was an upgrade! Throughout the Pierre event, I was able to obtain around 40 gelts just from killing the event mobs that spawned after every daily boss kill. Those will be useful in the future when the Ironman guild decides to attempt Horntail and also when I decide to try Castellan Toad. On December 2, 2024, I reached level 190. After reaching level 190, we began to start conversations about attempting Horntail so I began my hunt for Hero's Will which can be obtained through a questline that requires minature pianus etcs to be obtained and used. This was rather difficult as the drop rate for minature pianus is low and also because there are many players on the server that hunt pianus. The right side of pianus is also the only way for ironman to obtain rush 30 because the other boss that drops rush 30 is locked behind Neo Tokyo. On December 11, 2024, I was able to obtain the Hero's Will skill after hunting enough pianuses for 2 minature pianuses. This skill will be useful to get out of seduce during Horntail. Unfortunately, I was not able to pass Rush 30 during this time so I continued to kill Pianus for more Rush 30 skillbooks. With a few months of NX saved up, I was able to purchase 1945 gachapon tickets and went to New Leaf City to get some more white scrolls. Unfortunately, I got very unlucky that night and only obtained 11 white scrolls in 1945 pulls. To make matters worse, I pulled Lionheart Castle Gachapon 92 times and received brown work gloves and a chaos scroll 60%. Brown work gloves can potentially be a best in slot item with a 30% landed and some chaos scroll 60% luck. My glove for att 30% scroll failed and the chaos scroll 60% scroll I used failed on one of the maple scarves that I saved up. Finally, all 11 of the white scrolls that I used on my Stonetooth sword failed. I was able to get another upgrade at least by scrolling a green neos pants to 20 dex which will be useful in the future as I obtain an attack cape / shoe. On December 16, 2024, I soloed Castellan Toad. The fight took 2 hours and 20 minutes with 14 gelts and 2500 power elixirs being used. Castellan Toad drops a good eye accessory that provides str, luk, speed, and avoidability. It is one of the only options available for ironman as the other options are just the raccoon mask or the archaeologist glasses if you were lucky enough to get them permanently. Unfortunately, the rolls I got on my ninja toad headband were underaverage but I was able to obtain toad oil which is used for the quest that unlocks Neo Tokyo. While its not possible to solo bosses in Neo Tokyo as an ironman due to the 3 signup minimum required for the bosses, one of the mobs drop belts for str 100% which can be useful. On December 23, 2024, I finally obtained Rush 30 and successfully passed it from the right side of Pianus! While my luck has not been good these past few months, I will continue playing and I am excited because the Ironman guild will be attempting Horntail in a few days. Upon writing this post, this also marks one year of playing MapleRoyals which I have enjoyed the interactions I have had between members of this community.
