Our first Garbaggio HT run has been completed! The spoils from the first run included Maple Hero 20, Genesis 30, Blizzard 30 and the coveted Heaven's Hammer 30. Also on the run, there was an 11int Horntail Pendant looted by our resident Wyvern controlling Ice/Lightning Archmage. Thank you all for attending! I was definitely confused until I clicked on the link and thought the run was yesterday since you said 1/7 1 AM server time . Couldn't join today, but would be interested in the future.
I do have to apologize for the big mistake I made when scheduling; I put Sunday, January 8th instead of Monday. Servertime being in the late afternoon for America means that the day listed in the post will be "tomorrow" if the run is in the evening for North/South Americans, because the time will be after midnight in servertime/after reset. I still think putting it in servertime is the most appropriate way to do it, since there's game functionality to tell us what the time is on a whim, however I may also start including a Pacific Time translation to assist, since it certainly can be confusing for us who are playing from the past! Sorry for the confusion.
The usefulness of a Drk at Horntail depends on the HP of the party. For funded, well washed players a Drk is unnecessary. For parties with newer players who do not have 10k + HP, a Drk is essentially mandatory. Drks can hit multiple parts at the same time but it can reduce the damage output of the ranged party because they won't have a target to attack when Head B/C use weapon cancel.
^ that said, I'm willing to take anyone interested, however we may have to use you creatively in situations where our parties are unbalanced! The schedule for the upcoming week has been posted in the second post of the thread! We hope to see some new faces, as Kenny and I have tried to schedule things in such a way that weekend runs are more friendly for all players to attend. We will still be hosting one weekday run per week as well, however the main focus will be the weekend runs. We'd like to use this schedule going forward if it's well received, so here's hoping for the best! Sign-ups are now open.
