I’ve seen this game miraculously reborn several times by now.
Horntail re-release on christmas 2017.
Patch 65 HD client.
Sadly i can’t see it this time.

Release pink bean without autoban and hackers will fuck your economy up harder than you can imagine.
With monster crystals , diamonds and crystal ores.
Players with RC & Non dragon weapon equipment will become worthless overnight.

Simply Patch 72 once again be another disappointment.
With the typical trashy anniversary event like 2019/2020.
Royals will probably no longer be #1, neither will I choose to walk alongside with the server.

Theres no end game goal, everything is about casual casuals casuals. Creating more content for casuals.

Creating ellin to nerf into a wasteland in 1 patch.
Players working hard to farm just to nerf these methods into the ground.

Whats the point of gearing?
Whats the point of min-maxing?
When hardwork is no longer rewarded, bossing feels insignificant and pointless.

Do i enjoy spending 7-8 hours on 7 clients farming orbis etc? Fuck no.
Finishing the auf helm meant absolutely jack shit.
I’d rather be indulging myself with expeditions just like everyone else.
Yet what is there to do? Oh more casual content designed for low level and casual players.

How much time are you guys investing into a new anniversary ola ola map?
Pink bean? Autoban? SoonTM?
How many false promises are you going to give your players?
Is this not enough?
Open your eyes and take a look.
Players are leaving left and right.

 

Yes, I may ask stupid and simple questions with obvious answers but at least, I ask and I try to learn. I’m not someone who’s particularly good in gaming since young but I still try to blend into the community and try my best to improve day by day. So, you hate/dislike someone because that person is stupid in something that you’re good at? Wow, that’s pathetic!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped me throughout my journey here in Royals. I am where I am today because of you guys. You-know-who-you-are! Thanks

I can't stand the people who invest so much time and effort into this server. Say that they want the server to survive. And then continue on spreading negativity about the server. This is not the way change happens. At least not change, that people want. If you have a "following" and people who look up to you, you should use that platform to boost morale. There's more than one way to disagree with people, as well as suggest a change. Don't shine light on negativity, especially if it's from the past. It seems like some of the people who want to keep the server alive the most, are also the people pushing player's minds and hearts, to travel elsewhere. If you aren't happy. Leave

Some people have been incredibly short-sighted and dismissive to the efforts and gripes of many dedicated players lately, by giving out brash and not fully fleshed out criticism. Much of the criticism and bitterness from dedicated veterans, that some want to brush away as “negativity”, has been built over months, if not years, from constructive feedback that has continuously fallen on seemingly deaf ears. To invalidate the frustration of these players and tell them to simply forget the past, is incredibly ignorant and insulting.

On one hand, these people are saying that dedicated players should be less negative if they want to inspire change. On the other hand, they are also telling them that if they aren't happy, to just leave. So, which one is it?

Perhaps it’s their egos that needs to be put in check.

Edit: I agree that it’s discouraging to see these players telling others to leave the server, and I don’t want to encourage that at all, but consider that this is usually said out of a place of powerlessness and pent-up frustration. Instead of bashing on these players, perhaps seek to understand where this all might be coming from.

 

Can’t stand how GM’s handle ban appeals. The tone they use they acting like they working for the FBI or some shit.

what: decided to do zak/krex for old times sake. I don't have much gears (181nl ~4.4k) so I was looking out for 6man zak and 4man krex.(believe they are for lower level / weaker/ new attackers, or at least they were in the past). I saw someone smega recruiting zak pt need attackers. When i pm-ed him, I immediately got asked for range and level. Was surprised people even ask for that for zak (a full 6 man party not duo or trio). Shared that im 181nl but don't have much gears, 4.4k range but I'm willing to apple (wanted to tell them about it after getting accepted but didn't expect to be asked about range even before invited). Was told that its too low for my level but after begging to join for awhile he took some pity on me and allowed me in (big thanks!).

Next up, saw someone smega recruiting need last attacker for quad krex. Pm-ed level and range , willing to apple and didnt even get a reply. 3 minutes later saw him smega recruiting last attacker for quad krex again. pm-ed again, ignored again. 3 minutes later , same thing again, didn't bother this time. Didn't go for krex in the end, but the experience would probably be pressing a key and holding it there (might be wrong if they did any changes to krex).

thoughts: ain't 6 man zak/ 4 man krex runs for lower level /weaker/ new attackers without strong gears to join and gain some levels together? apparently not these days. I can't imagine anyone asking for range for 6 man zak in the past. The old community feels more inclusive towards newer/weaker players (I may be wrong, cause I am indeed disconnected with community nowadays). Didn't face any issues joining zak runs as a 135NL back then. Continue gatekeeping and you'll see more post on lacking of new players, since it looks like on this server you need to spend months on a mage to get gears to even get experience of the the most basic party runs of 6man zak/ quad krex. But of course I am pretty out of touch, there may be a shift from being more community focused to whatever it is today.

Of course, please don't take this post seriously. This post isn't intended to serve any purpose (hence posted here, I do not expect much people to read). Just a random sharing since it has been awhile. Also don't mind my engrish/unorganized block of words.

 

After 4 months of chatting you daily and talked about being penpals, I can't believe you'll finally start writing your first letter to me so we can start being penpals. I'm so excited to read them and have them in my hands.
