No! You can get a godly item which has more than the usual perfect stat for the equip and it still be White... or even Grey! So it's worth checking your equips before you decide to NPC or drop them!

The colour tiers of equips are based on comparison to their average stats. If one of the stats is -2 than average and another one is +1 than average the item will be grey because the total difference to the average stats is -1.

-1 and below = Grey

0 - +5 (unscrolled) = White

0 - +5 (scrolled) = Orange

+6 - +22 = Blue

+23 - +39 = Purple

+40 = Yellow

What are these so called 'Godly Items'?

Godly Items are a custom feature of MapleRoyals where you have a chance of getting an equip which can have the stats increased by between 0 to 5 points. This means it is possible to get an equip which is above its usual range of stats.

Where can I get 'Godly Items'?

From monster drops.

From Gachapon.

By forging items.

What is the chance of getting a 'Godly Item'?

Whenever you gain an equip, you have a 1 in 20 chance of it being affected by the 'godly items' feature. However, this does not guarantee that equip will be above it's highest normal range of stats.

Still confused about 'Godly Items'? Here's an example:

You gain a Purple Enigma (a level 78 female magician overall). The usual stat range is:

Weapon Def.: 68 (61-75)
Magic Def.: 34 (30-38)
INT +6 (5-7),
LUK +2 (1-3),
MP +34 (30-38)

Lets pretend that if it wasn't affected by the feature that the stats would have been slightly below average:

Weapon Def.: 66
Magic Def.: 34
INT +5
LUK +1
MP +33

However if you hit the 1 in 20 chance of getting a godly item then this equip would now have between 0 and 5 added to each stat. I guess you could say it is similar to having automatically having the item scrolled which a Chaos Scroll except it doesn't lower the stats. So the equip may be something like:

Weapon Def.: 71 (5 points added) Notice that the 71 Weapon Def is still lower than what you could find from an equip not effected by the feature!
Magic Def.: 34 (1 point added)
INT +10 (5 points added)
LUK +3 (2 points added)
MP +33 (0 points added)

I think it'd be worth to update this post with official changes to the color system. Currently I can only find scattered info:

https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-91-02-04-24.231159/ official notes on the change but it doesn't explicitly define what "stats" means for both weapons and armor, which is the whole point of the change
