    It's not really necessary for anyone to do the quest, but it's most beneficial for any class that uses a lot of summoning rocks such as hermits> NLs and I think Rangers use s.rocks for one of their skills? Don't really know.

    Also, Priests/bishops use magic rocks for mystic door

    If you don't care about magic/summoning rocks, completing some of the cwk preq allows you to buy all cures from Mo in Dead Man's Gorge.

    By going in and out of FM to take you to top of tower, do you mean cash shop? Because that isn't working for me.

    Items can be prepared beforehand, and I would recommend doing so (I just did it a few days ago again).

    Yes, sorry to be the necromancer here but Vogen in El Nath can also refine a Star Rock as the orher jewels and minerals into plates etc. He's right above Alcaster in the Nath market map.
