Honestly I'm fine with how the event is. I'm not a fan of JQ's so i will probably avoid it. Overall I think the FM look is fricken fantastic. I'm shocked how well it looks. You guys did a fine job. But if you're looking really looking for suggestions, maybe having AP Resets or Safety Charms as additional rewards for candy would be nice too. Make them cost like 1k candies. Maybe add in Random goody boxes that cost 100-200 candy that could have bonus candy/scrolls/potions/godly equips inside. They would kind of be like a lottery basket. Even if you dont, im perfectly happy with the event!
It's a tough but fair jumper comparable to Zakum JQ and I like it a lot, but the prize could be a little better. I'd suggest bumping up the reward to 100 candies so that by the end of the month a person that goes every day has enough to get some nice rewards.
Not at all. I'm serious. If you have an issue with something, don't just say you don't like it being the same as past years. Give us a recommendation as to how to improve it. As I've said to others, the candy dropping and trading into Malady is literally my favorite part of Royals. Why? My most vivid memory of GMS was hunting for those candies in the Construction Site West of Kerning map. So to have this event year after year is amazing to me as it brings me back to the fun I had on GMS years ago when I was much younger. Others clearly don't like the return of the same event year after year so provide some suggestions for us to consider. Overall though, it appears the combination of Malady and the Halloween JQ are really favored by the majority and will be something we can look forward to in the future
I wasn't complaining! Sorry if it came off that way. Consumables like gizers are always nice. A super rare drop (~1%?) would be cool like the Red Socks at christmas. I assume you could just model the drop table to just be similar to either xmas or easter and make the the rewards more halloween themed, but even if they're not I doubt anyone would complain.
Won't let me edit my post, so double post lol. I'm sure you guys decided on 50 candies per run as a good number to give people opportunity to get the items they want but also make it a challenge and not too easy to buy everything. So maybe keep the average amount at 50 still, but have other quanitites possible i.e. imaginary drop roulette lands on item "X quantity Candies", 50% chance of 50 candies, 25% chance of 25 candies, 25% chance of 100 candies. That's pretty basic, but it still preserves that 50 candy median which keeps the halloween item value in equilibrium.
I wouldn't mind seeing some Halloween themed wings or other cape covers. Maybe even make a Halloween-style Gachapon for random chairs and NX equips bought with like 250 candies or something like that.
I liked the Halloween map and the candies that dropped from the mobs. The jump quest is kinda annoying but I can handle it. I think that you missed the Pumpkin hat in the reward list. Anyway I like how the event is going on and how people keep buying candies. I suggest you to create a daily quest that allows the players to gain more candies(50) in addition to the jump quest
Is it possible for you guys to change the slimes to the Halloween version? http://strategywiki.org/wiki/File:MS_Monster_Halloween_Slime.png
Have you tried using Snow Shoes? Just thinking if they're slippery, they might be "covered" by the Ice attribute.
Is it just me or do speed+jump equips work inside the JQ? I swear some people walkin way faster than me.
I have seen people walk faster than me but it has been caused by some lag/delay, speed/jump shouldn't work.
Woot, I've improved from my initial 2 hours 22 minutes! Got a few scores around 30 mins, but thanks to picking up a few helpful tips from other players, I managed this, which by my standards (I suck at JQs) is good! I think it's more likely to be a case of where the footholds are on them (think I used the right word - bit you can stand on, anyway). They're a kind of awkward shape.
