Hey. Encountered some posts about HP washing here that had really controversial opinions about it. After that saw some updates about admins coding more ways to get more HP without a wash. Me personally don't want to HP wash used to play MS at least 6 years ago and didn't have to do it then and don't want to do it now, if I don't have a choice, of course, I'll learn. From my understanding of it people without it, won't be accepted into party quest, etc.. and that's a problem for me cuz one of the reasons I want to get back playing MS is PQs. On that note, are KPQ, LPQ, and all lower levels PQs active? Because I see a lot of high levels here. Thank you and have a nice day.
If you're making a mage you don't need to wash at all. If you're making a warrior you don't really need to wash, but may want to consider 20-40 points in int which will have a minimal effect on training but still give you some extra hp when you're a higher level and end up wanting to wash. Ranged classes pretty objectively benefit alot from washing. You can see a thread with hp thresholds and a calculator here. There are also various options for hp. The gpq medal (Ergoth's bane) gives 500 hp. The black belt from dojo gives 300 hp. The base hp quests give +500 base hp, and 3rd and 4th job advancements now give increased hp. There are also reactors on some maps which give you a buff for +1000 hp. You can read more in this thread here. However, doing an absurd amount of hp washing isn't required. Hp washing won't affect you at all for joining pqs. It might be harder to find pub ht parties if you need hyper body (need 9800 hp without hb), but getting into pub ht runs is a real pain anyways unless you're a well funded night lord. I'd really recommend joining a guild and just adding people to buddy list / being social -- most people recruit from guild and friend list for bossing before smegas anyways. And you don't need to have 999999 hp by 135 or anything, if you just need a little more leveling more is always an option. One thing if you're playing a ranged class though I'd recommend is getting a zakum helm at lvl 50 (50m for 1, or 100m for a vip run) and just scrolling it for int. Since mp is added every level with extra int, the earlier you have extra int on the better, and equips don't really matter until you start bossing anyways. I'm not sure how active the lower level pqs are as I haven't done them in a while. Also note that you can get 8k nx per day from voting (voting on multiple accounts will get you banned though) which can then be converted to mesos by selling ap resets to other players (14-15m ea) or doing gachapon (I wouldn't suggest doing this as a new player due to rng).
